This very popular pub is becoming a regular haunt on a Thursday evening with Sonia. Sadly, our visit is all too brief but I have promised myself to return for a meal one day. The atmosphere is so welcoming as are the staff and the red wine is excellent. Thank you Sonia for introducing me!

The Duke of Wellington brings a friendly, inviting experience with a cosy country pub for everyone. We had our daughter's wedding reception there couple of weeks ago and enjoyed every moment. The team were so amazing in helping us and getting involved. The food smelt and tasted absolutely amazing,

I would recommend you go and see for yourself.

Popped in for a couple of pints whilst my son was at a party in the Church Hall. Great pub, friendly staff and to top it off open fires. Although we didn't eat, the menu looked fantastic. Will certainly be going back.

New discovery!!! Roast Lamb was beautiful. Great food, great atmosphere so we’ll be back.

My husband Mark and I had our joint 50th birthday party at the Duke on Saturday 20th May. We hired the restaurant and covered patio area and enjoyed a fantastic Hog roast provided by a lovely local guy. Jon and Helen provided all the other food including the most scrumptious Brownies. Local DJs Rob and Andy provided the music - a real trip down memory lane.



We had the most fantastic evening and I have received nothing but thanks and praise from our guests for the warm welcome, beautiful location and fantastic food. Nothing was too much trouble.



THANK YOU Jon and Helen for making our 50th celebration an evening to remember. xx

My friends and I were at the Duke on Thursday 29th March, they had a great band playing called 'The Reyes' , the atmosphere was superb, the bar staff were excellent, no long waits for drinks, even though it was cramped band side of the pub the other side was available if you wanted to chat. Fantastic evening, thank you x

I always enjoy a visit to the Duke, the Harvey's bitter, the excellent food and fine wines in a gentle atmosphere with attentive staff. What more could one wish for at the end of a stressful day.

Fantastic local family pub! Been going in here for years and always have the same warm welcome. Homemade cooked food is served daily and the staff are wonderful. Dogs are also welcome inside the pub. Come and see what you are missing out on. One of Kent’s finest little treasures!

Pretty garden, great for eating your BBQ in the sun or shade depending on your tan requirements. Fabulous food served by happy staff.

Brilliant food and lovely atmosphere. We came to celebrate 2 birthdays. We had a table of nine and the service was quick and the tapas was reasonably priced and tasty. Everyone was pleased with their main course.

Been cycling past it for a few years and thought I'll have to go in there one day'! So yesterday we went in there for lunch and it was well worth the visit! Sure we'll be going back there soon!
