New Floral Display for Summer 2018 coming soon, we hope you enjoy this years pub flower display, best viewed over a pint in the sunshine. Our past displays have been award winning and we hope to keep up that tradition. Look out for photos next month or come and see the pub putting on it's summer show.

What a great pub. Great selection of beers , home cooked food & friendly staff. A must visit in Southampton

Stopped for a coffee break but was told " We are not a coffee shop we are a pub we sell alcohol "" so we had a drink instead very welcome G & T at 11am very friendly pub and the oldest in Southampton would be happy to go back. We would have had a meal if we had time perhaps next time 😍😍

I cannot thank Zaloma and Mark enough for coming to our rescue and hosting our last minute Wedding Reception. The buffet was amazing and venue was perfect. Thank you, Claire and Paul.

Hamburgers are second to none and staff are very friendly. Nice cosy place to sit back, relax and enjoy your beverage of choice.

Good food. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. I had the fish and chips, which was perfect in every way. Love the Horizon and BT ales. Fantastic!

Found this quaint pub after being recommended by the Holiday Inn, wow not only was there no football on when it was World Cup, but the service and food is amazing. Had Calimari (best I’ve ever had) and Fish n chips, the fish was huge well worth the £40 for 2 Course & 2 pints for 2. Definitely give them a try. Will deffo be back when in Southampton next.

Food was excellent, hosts were charming and if you love olde wordy you will love it. Definitely will go back, I want to try the pie it was finished when we were there xx

Fantastic Sunday roast, choice of meats & all fresh vegetables, home cooked.

Good choice of Wadworth beers, add a great atmosphere & very friendly staff and its an unbeatable combination!!!

Amazing jazz band last night! We were on our way somewhere else and we're drawn in when we heard it, will be checking when they are playing again! Love this pub always anyhow, friendly, cosy and great food, bringing friends again soon!

Beautiful pub, outside and in. Unfortunately we arrived between lunch and dinner and as we had to go back to London couldn't stay to try out the food. Staff were friendly and welcoming though.

Was really looking forward to our meal having been in earlier for a couple of pints, cod and chips and scampi and chips very nice fish,scampi is scampi, chips not good they had been double cooked , I love chips so I know !!!!! Don't mind waiting for a good meal (chips) DONT part cook them !!! Not nice.

Had Sunday roast here many times & it's been very good, unfortunately this Sunday it wasn't up to the normal standard. Lots of food but unfortunately all the veg was cold, had to be reheated & had to ask for more gravy which when it came I had to almost spoon it on, far too thick & not very tasty which is unusual as this is the first time I've been disappointe, I wasn't the only customer either.
