Dukeries Community Band

A community band based in Ollerton, Nottinghamshire.

The band rehearses Tuesday evenings in the Dukeries Academy Concert Hall. Main doors open at 18: 45.

The Community Band was formed by Malcolm Bevan in 1984 and he continues to have links with the band. The band is open to anyone to join and mainly consists of brass, woodwind and percussion performers. It is ideal for people of all ages, abilities and to those who may not have played their instrument in some time to join due to its friendly and supportive atmosphere.

The band meets once a week on a Tuesday evening from 7pm until 9pm in the Dukeries Academy Concert Hall and is always invited to join the Academy Concert Band at concerts each term.
