Dumc Boulderthon 2018

There's now a preseason group chat. I think I've added most people but please comment if I've forgotten to add you

Reminder: meeting at the DSU at 3PM today. This will be a casual session at the Valley in Newcastle where people can do there own thing and try out some of the problems there.

At long last, here is the schedule for next week:
Monday: 3PM - Meet at the DSU to head to the Valley for ~3:30
... Tuesday: 10AM start for slacklining w/ Adrian. Location tbc.
Wednesday: 9AM - Meet at DSU to head to Shaftoe for ~10/10:30, we will be there for most of the day. the weather is currently looking good but if it turns bad then we may have to change our plans.
Thursday: 7PM - Meet at DCC for coached training session
Friday: 7PM - Meet at DCC for comp.
For transport, we have 6 drivers, though Kiran Crawford will most likely be busy a lot of the time and Dan Mitchell-Garnett has said that anyone who gets in his car "may very well die!" So that leaves Thomas Teece, Bex Capewell-Salisbury, Daniel Humphreys and myself. As far as I can tell, we only need three cars for transport on the Monday, so I will drive and you three can decide between you who will drive.
On the Wednesday, Bex Capewell-Salisbury is busy but I think we will need to four cars as we'll be taking pads as well so Dan Mitchell-Garnett will need to drive to (just take it nice and slow 😄)

Btw guys... I acquired a rather silly costume today, which I think you'll all enjoy. And, as bouldering captain, I feel it is only right that I wear it for the entirety of preseason. Anyone who wishes to join me with a silly costume of their own is most welcome.

For those punters who hadn't realised (Dan Mitchell-Garnett) the dates of preseason are 24/09 - 28/09.
