Dunes Splash World

Great pool for all the family. Great changing rooms, but this does get busy. Lockers are fiddly, but roomy. Customers treat toilets with no respect for others. Staff try to keep them clean, but some customers clearly live in caves. Best deal is the all day family ticket for 4. There were only 3 of us, but that ticket was cheapest. Paid parking available next to pool building. Discount for pool available on car park ticket usually.

A great fun day out for the kids and families. The staff are friendly, the changing rooms clean and family friendly, and the pool is well staffed with areas for toddlers, kids and teens. The small cafe has nice food and you can sit with a brew whilst the kids wear themselves out.

I'm a member of Dunes and I'm really happy with everything they offer. The pool is a good size with lanes closed off for those who don't want to be disturbed by kids. The gym has really good machines with updated equipment and lots of classes available.

Would be great, but far far too busy, therefore you wait hours to get on the slides and can't get a changing room. We paid for the hour and a half and had time for two slides and a very quick swim about. Then waited again for a changing room. They obviously let everyone in to make as much money as possible. My advice ...go a bit further to Blackpool Sandcastle or save your money and go to Europa Pools in Birkenhead (exactly the same for half the price)

First time visited was quite a few years ago and all had a great time came back yesterday and place alot smaller although didn't see this information anywhere. Not much to do for teenagers more for younger children. Wished we hadn't brought all day tickets, over priced for what available. Not very clean chewing gum noted in quite a few places and suspicious items floating in water and around poolside. Won't be visiting again

Don't believe all the negative reviews on trip advisor. It is great fun for kids but a bit pricey. The temperature inside is fine and the cleanliness is what you would expect in a public swimming baths. The biggest criticism is the lack of family changing. Splash World rightly promotes itself as a family venue and then you discover there are only 2 family cubicles which, judging by the state of them are not inspected or cleaned throughout the day.

Great day out for all the family. The slides are really good fun, and the whole place is exceptionally clean and well maintained. On the occasions we have been, we have never had to queue long for the slides. Car parking is easy and we priced. If there was one suggestion it would be for slightly larger changing rooms, me and my young son only just squeezed in a single cubicle. Apart from that, everything seems is superb.

Great time out with the kids, good for younger children and not too busy even on a rainy Saturday. Good value food in the café.

My toddler is terrified of water so we hadn't splashed out ('scuse the pun) on splash world before in the fear it would be wasted money. Should have come ages ago, the toddler area is huge and the water is lovely and warm. He also enjoyed us holding him up in the lazy river section of the pool. Well worth the money for him.

Very good service and the staff are helpful however the changing facilities are constantly dirty.

Great rides but to expensive. Food service is extremely slow and below average quality.
