Durham Area Youth

Durham Area Youth is a growing charity that has been set up to deliver services to young people in Sherburn Village, Sherburn Hill, Pittington, West Rainton, Shadforth, as well as West Rainton and Sherburn Primary Schools and Belmont Community school. The youth project is delivered by professional youth workers. Durham Area Youth is a charity set up by members of our communities and is reliant on grants and donations for the majority of its income. We are very grateful to Pittington, West Rainton and Sherburn parish councils for providing funds to get us up and running. We have also received a grant from the Haswell Wind Farm project through County Durham Community Foundation. We operate out of Jubilee Hall, West Rainton; Pittington Village Hall; Durham City Gymnastics Centre in Sherburn; Sherburn Primary School; Sherburn Hill Community Centre; Shadforth Community Centre; Belmont Community School;Please encourage your children to come along and let us know what they think!
