The Dyson Animal 2 (which we bought to replace our 8-year-old Dyson that conked out last week) is awesome. It has picked up so much stuff that the old Dyson missed; it's almost like having the carpets professionally cleaned. And the motor sounds great. Very satisfying!

I've been a fan of Dyson vacuum cleaners since my Dad proudly showed off his new one about 18 years ago.

I can't recommend the Animal 2 highly enough. Dyson's call centre service is polite, friendly and professional. And on top of that, they offer a 35 day no- quibble trial. Absolutely worth the premium price.

Have pure hot + cool and found out today that the Auto mode is only for air cleaning. It has nothing to do with temperature. I was hoping that when they introduced the app it would enable me to control the temperature via that but there is no option to set a target temperature. I only hope they realise soon that they have another sales option to establish it as an environment cleaner. Clean air at the correct temperature 24/7.

We love our Dyson products, we have a cordless Hoover and an air purifying fan, however, the amount of unnecessary plastic packaging is very disappointing.. that's my only issue, customer services are always great, products are great, just too much plastic packaging.

Very disappointed with the hot and cool tower. The word cool is a misrepresentation as it gives the impression it cools. It doesn’t. It’s only marginally quieter than our existing fan, which was the price of a long weekend for two less. Will be returning it tomorrow.

I bought a vacuum cleaner in Dyson's Tmall flagship store in China.



June 10, 2018,

I contact the customer service (including the service people B12 B137) in Dayson’s Tmall store for the power charger problem, we continue communicate from 16:37 to 17:50 more than an hour, then they finally found that "your machine is still in warranty, will be sent to you a new one free of charge," then I provide the photos with product description and bar code. Finally, I received a new charger in June 15th, but such communication level and efficiency have been very dissatisfied.



June 19th, I received the new charger, but it’s wrong model!

Then I took photos and uploaded the customer service, they reply “Send it back, we will deliver a new model, you will pay the postage first, then we will pay it back to you. "



June 20th, I sent the charger back and attached the express form and payment voucher. The customer service of the Dyson Tmall flagship store said it would be handled. Then, when I asked for the postage, the reply was "10 working days"???

I was very angry, obviously I helped you to pay for it. Why did it cost me two weeks to pay back the money, only 18 Chinese dollars!!?? The reply of the customer service was "need to go through the financial process"... the we’re communicated for 2 hours, and finally returned to me by 15:00 p. m. the same day, but no apologize.

My express show that the charger sent back in June 22nd has arrived at your address in Suzhou and has been signed, but no one contact me to communicate when I can get the righ model,the suitable charger.



It's been 15 days. It's just a power charger issue, what a kidding?



I want to complain about the unprofessional and low efficiency of the customer service staff at Dayson’s Tmall's flagship store. Please reply me in written



And please send me the right power charger immediately.

Worst hoover I have ever had. Only had since September 2017 and had mountains of issues with it. I have the V6 absolute and I can’t even hoover for 30 seconds without it cutting out on me.. then you have to plug it in for five minutes to get the motor running again then you barely get 20 seconds of hoovering done again... ridiculous. Especially being 36 weeks pregnant I have had enough and phoned the Dyson hotline and they say they can only get someone out next week (providing I haven’t given birth) which is not ideal as I need a hoover now. I would rather a full refund and it can go towards a new one. I have had to purchase a Vax hoover from Tescos at £37.99. Awful hoover and not great service if I’m honest because I still don’t know where I stand with getting a refund or having to wait longer for parts etc.. overall terrible experience with this so called ‘number one brand’ company.

What happened Dyson??

You used to make state of the art top quality stuff, yet in the past few years I’ve bought a hot and cold fan for over £300 which is rubbish and has been replaced once already- new one doesn’t blow hot or cold air either (£40 bionaire fan is perfect in comparison), the upright broke more times than I care to remember (yet the Vax upright we paid £60 for is good as gold and has just as much suction as yours DID when it was new),

The handheld animal vacuum we bought from dyson has never worked very well and after a few months has less than about 30 seconds of power on MAX from a full charge?!

I’ve gone back to using a Henry hoover!!!

Very disappointed with dyson always purchased your machines but not anymore, I have a dc40 multi floor which worked perfectly well on my other carpet which were very deep piled but after buying new carpets and having engineer down been told that your multi floor vac won't work on them so what's the point of a multi floor vac ? I shall be buying another brand that is corded in future never a dyson again, it's like buying a car that doesn't work on the roads how ridiculous ��

Twice this year (bearing in mind it is only April 5th) we have ordered a Dyson machine.

Twice they have failed to deliver it on the day given, the first one could then not be given a date after two failures to actually release the product out for delivery. So we cancelled it.

Twice now with our new order it has failed to be released due to a 'glitch' and yet another we are sorry there are 1000 in stock we cannot say why your delivery has not taken place. Michelle at ask Dyson gave us the same script and apologised again, but still no device. We are now asked to take another delivery slot on Thursday... good luck with that.

So thanks Dyson, you have now taken 4 days of annual leave from me and i still do not have a device.

Oh and thanks to Michelle, i am taking another day off tomorrow, 1/4 of my annual leave allocation just to get a vacuum that may or may not actually exist or be delivered.

What a shambles.

Top price products that work fine for a finite length of time then watch out. Spare parts are carefully controlled so you have to go via Dyson and pay £££. That is if you can get their call centres to answer you in the first place.

Phoned yesterday for a service engineer visit, informed it may be best to buy a new one, so yes ordered, promised a date/time, guess what ? Waited in, no delivery, so tel Dyson, who couldn't explain where it was, couldn't give me a new del slot, because couriers were in a meeting, said they may ring me back, couldn't confirm when. I asked to speak with a Manager, guess what, none available, what a shambles !

I was made to feel, as if I had caused a problem, they were going to help me !

They took the order/money and don't have a clue, when or if it will be delivered.

Cancelled order, off to John Lewis to deal with a proper sales team.

Mr Dyson, its no use designing fab tools, if you can't get your staff right.

Over the past thirty years I have used corded Dysons and hardly had an issue. Under a year ago I bought a Dyson V03 and loved it for about 4 weeks . Then it began to cut out on me every 30 seconds or so . We reviewed various comments on line and followed suggestions to no avail . Now I'm really fed up as it looks like I'll have to buy a Shark or cheaper brand just to clean my bungalow .What's the point Dyson ? The concept is good but your customers are at the sharp end and it's no good if they keep packing up !!

May I suggest that you ask one of the Polish language speakers, look up entries on fb Poland and take action to improve the warranty service? I thought that I was a spectacular exception, but after the response to my entry I see that I am an excellent example of the normality of your action in Poland. This normality will cause the outflow of your clients. regards

I have had problems with my dc41 animal from about 6 months of ownership. The U pipe that clicks over to upright suction eventually stops moving.

I have had a replacement machine and this one also has the same problem.

Had the engineer out AGAIN works for a bit and then fails.

I have had numerous dyson vacumns throughout the years and always always recommended them to people. Im a cleaner and use them everyday. Since they stopped making the fixed head two wheels one's. Tge last being dc33 I've not bought one. The best machine dyson ever made was the dc14. Ive even bought 2nd hand one from a car boot. The ball one's were awful to use and hurt my wrists when i tried one and never seemed to have the same cleaning power as the fixed ones. I use one at a house i clean. Awful. But to top that another lady has one of the top hand held one. What a load of rubbish. No suction on carpets. Have to keep changing heads and battery life doesn't even last a whole house. And dyson are thinking of getting rid of corded ones. You hsve gone backwards not forwards. I know own a shark and take it to the house of the lady eith cordless one and boy can you see a difference. When a cordless one is neeeded i will also be buying the shark. You have lost lots of loyal customers with you so say advanced technology and not listening to the people. Shame on you.

Had a dyson fixed head animal that was fantastic. When it gave up i bought the ball version for over £200, what a complete waste of good money for such poor flimsy rubbish. From the moment it came out of the box it was crap, constantly cleaning it inside and messing about with filters. Even before the new one caught fire in the engine after making high screeching noises, i had started using a sweeping brush. I will never buy a dyson again, going back to hoover.

Had Dysons for many years with no problems until now! 10 months old and it broke on me. Took it to the place of purchase and was informed that because it’s a Dyson they would not replace it. Instead they called a service engineer, who is unable to come out and repair it for 2 weeks!! TOTALY UNACCEPTABLE. Any other hoover and the retailer would exchange it for a new one without hesitation. I will not be purchasing another Dyson again. I’ve had to go out and buy a new hoover as I can’t go 1 day never mind 2 weeks without a hoover!!

Great product (until it breaks) and then look out. They have horrible customer service. Weeks have gone by and no management contact and no replacement vacuum as promised. I could have driven to Chicago by now to pick up a replacement. You can see by their rating here that Dyson doesn't stand behind their warranty or their word.

Given that there is currently an episode of Panorama on the BBC detailing the dangers of weak WiFi passwords, it is VERY disappointing that the Dyson Purifier does not allow "special characters" in the password of the WiFi Network you are trying to connect it to.



This means that I have had to downgrade my security in able to get full functionality.



This should be a simple fix, please let me know when this issue will be resolved.
