Ian Stewart and Elaine Newell have combined their two very different businesses to create E & I Crafts, a cottage industry which creates beautiful bespoke pieces of jewellery and individual wood turned products.

ELAINE NEWELL is a trained silversmith and works on her ranges of contemporary, exclusive jewellery in sterling silver, semi-precious stones and Swarovski crystals. All her work is hand-made - nothing is cast - which ensures that each piece is unique and distinctive. It is also possible to commission her to recycle jewellery making something new from much-loved, already owned pieces.

IAN STEWART is a self-taught wood turner; the origin of this art dates to around 1300 BC and differs from other forms of woodworking as the wood is moving while it is cut and shaped with a stationary tool. Ian works out of his home-based workshop handcrafting a wide variety of beautiful platters, bowls, candle and tea light holders alongside wooden jewellery with silver inserts, potpourri bowls with pewter tops and bespoke pens in wood and acrylic with intricate filigree detail.
