As the quiz was a great success last time around its time for another one.

I would like to thank everyone that turned up for the quiz last night. It was a lot of fun. we'll do the same a couple of weeks. Thanks to Catherine for the butties.

New beer on tonight. Bridgehouse Pale Bandit. Gluten Free. Suitable for vegetarians and Vegans. 3.6% ABV.

Early Doors Micro Pub - Skipton will now be until 9pm on Friday and Saturday night and will be opening on Sunday from 2pm till 8pm.

Beers this weekend. Great beer from Ossett brewery called Summer Fruits. 3.9%. Really worth a try in this lovely weather.

Following the fantastic night we had watching the semi finals, we'll do the same again this afternoon by bring the big telly in to watch the Wimbledon mens final at 2 o'clock then the World cup finals at 4. I'll be supplying plenty of peanuts to nibble on too. Open at 12 and staying open till the final whistle. See you there.

What a fantastic find - an absolute gem!! First visit to the place and we were greeted as if we were old friends. Paul is a great host and he and his lovely customers made us feel that welcome that we couldn’t help but nip back for another hour before venturing on. Would highly recommend the Blonde Witch ale too....a superb drink! Planning a 2nd visit real soon �

Went in Tuesday and was introduced to the new landlord who made us very welcome. Every beer we had was excellent quality. I would personally recommend "Bitter revival" but each to there own you won't be disappointed

Small basic venue (micro pub standard) but a warm welcome from both owners and regulars... Tried both the Moorhouses Blonde Witch and Goose Eye Chinook both were as a good as anything I've had recently and good value at £3 a pint.... Look forward to my imminent return. �

Popped in for a drink after completing our walk . Very welcoming ,great beer and dog friendly . Have been before and will definitely go again next time we are in Skipton

Popped in for a couple of drinks as we were visiting Skipton. Fantastic hosting by Paul to make us feel welcome and a couple of cheeky ales made it a great experience. Planning next trip already ������

Loved it! Great, back-to-basics ale house with excellent service, cracking ales and a great atmosphere. Go, you’ll love it.

Great little pub and really lovely staff well done.

Great little bar, friendly staff, friendly customers. The bar is clean, well kept with six great beers and a decent selection of bottled beers. We had a lovely weekend in Skipton and thanks to Early doors for making us feel so welcome. Please put this fantastic bar on your to do list if you are in Skipton and like real ale.

Great beer, good owner and nice atmosphere!

Good beers, all at £2.80 a pint. The landlord may be called Michael. He is lucky enough to have a cellar. It was a bookies, but was a pub before that (the Little Craven?); so when he was looking for an empty unit he got one with a cellar (unlike most micro pubs). No coffee, lager on draft; or wine in little bottles. So what? I rarely drink lager, coffee. or wine in pubs. Near the poorer than average wetherspoons, and a reminder of what a pub should be like.

Fabulous little gem run by 2 great guys.Well worth a visit. We always go everytime we return to Skipton.This is how a micropub should be run catering for ladies drinks not just cask ale drinkers.

Cracking little pub with friendly staff and customers. Had been told about it and that it was near Netherspoons but actually walked passed it twice before spotting it (look for a red sign). Well worth a visit!

Cracking little place. Very friendly, nice selection of real ales and they even sell proper crisps.(Seabrook).

Been here several times now ... Don & Mike as mine hosts are really knowledgeable & friendly ... comfy / cosy atmosphere ... I recommend Hidden Road wine (white Zinfandel) even tho' it's pink lolz ... good range of hand pulled + bottles + soft drinks stocked ... rear garden to lounge in & so smokers don't have to go on the street pavement ... spotless & well equipped unisex toilets x :)

Absolutely amazing customer service from Michael! Love going for real ale after work. Get to have a laugh, a chat and a cheeky pint. Everyone is friendly and its nice to be able to have a conversation without booming music. Although music is great, a real conversation is much appreciated. Even better...even I can afford one or two with the prices being so good!

A real treat to find this micro pub. Lovely staff with great ale (and prosecco �). Right dandy prices too! Would highly recommend a visit to this hearty pub.

A Must visit Micro micro pub a real must in Skipton. The lads behind the bar make everyone welcome. Great choice of cask beers and drinks for all.
