Inspiring Writing Open Evening with British pop-up book artist Paul Johnson.
During this practical session, you will learn how to make over ten different book forms using only paper and scissors. Each one is focused on a different writing genre and will inspire writing for all children (and adults) across EYFS and KS1. I have been so fortunate to attend two Early Excellence sessions, as part of Teach First's Teacher Development Conference. I was so inspired by Jude Twani's talk on Building Children's Interests and Andy Burt's talk on Effective Interaction. I can't recommend Early Excellence enough.
Had a wonderful day being reminded of the important things when teaching young children. Lots to think about and re-create!!!
Had a fabulous day looking at the environments for inspiration and ideas and then shopping! Also a fabulous lunch!
A fun day but feel i have learned so much also!
Currently a part of an Enquiry based learning project. The team are fantastic and it has to be one of the first bits of training to make any major difference to my teaching!
