Very friendly and helpful staff. The whole museum was a delight for someone of my age who used that form of transport on a daily basis in their younger days. Being able to ride on a trolleybus again was a real pleasure.

Visited on an event weekend. Lots of vehicles running and lots of activity plus free shuttle bus to local rail/bus station. A lot to keep you occupied for several hours for a relatively small museum. All staff enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. Sensibly priced throughout.

Visited the museum yesterday with grandchildren aged 12, 9 and 2 years. We took our own picnic but there was a nice little cafe. Plenty to do for a few hours at a very good price. Nice rides on trams and trolleybuses.

An amazing experience despite the tramway being truncated because of tract repairs on the woodland section. Three different trolleybuses running and the narrow gauge railway. Steam on the road exhibition was excellent. Return visits free of charge and we'll certainly be back!

Fantastic day out for young and old alike. Tram ride, trolleybus ride and train ride all in one place and unlimited too. The exhibitions are brilliant and the team are very welcoming. They even do a mean cup of tea in the tea rooms.

If you like your inter-war public transport, this is the place for you. Plenty of trams and buses to explore and ride, all run by knowledgeable volunteer enthusiasts. Recommended family day out

Took my family of boys they loved riding all day on the trams train and trolley buses, which run one after another all day...think we got 7 rides but could have got a lot more. Had picnic in the woods. Great little cafe and gift shop. The volunteers work very hard. Good displays. You can go back as many times as you want through out the year with your ticket. No point comparing it to Crich as it is smaller but still packs a punch! Both are unique sites in their own right and cater for everyone's tastes.

Very nice place to spend a summer afternoon. Lots of exhibits, and you can ride on the trams and narrow gauge train. There's a good cafe and gift shop too.

Great museum, kids loved the trams and train. Small, needs to get more land to expand, but still worth a visit. Doesn't normally open till 12noon. If you donate to gift aid, then entry lasts one year! Very friendly staff.
