Lenny is a charmer, knows all the answers. He'll say anything just to get out of a tight fix. His promises are like morning mist. Steer well clear. I know from personal experience.

Let me just itemise the catalog of disaster that approx £20,000 spent with ECB has bought me. Things that I have discovered so far ...
1) Pipework/plumbing/boiler controls cemented over during damp proof work.
2) Electrics for central heating boiler left in a dangerous state.
3) Gas pipe/bayonet connector re sited to a place behind cooker in a way that the cooker has to "stick out" beyond the kitchen worktops.
4) Boiler condensate pipe, specifically asked to be replaced during damp proof work because it was leaking. Not replaced, but tied up with string. Hidden behind kitchen worktops. Still leaking.
5) Taps and drain plumbing to kitchen sink leaking badly, probably causing as much damage as the damp proofing work was intended to stop.
6) Woodwork. Much of it was lost due to damp.Half of the "recoverable" bits were thrown in the skip. The rest has been patched together with mis-matched bits of wood.
7) Damp proofing to concrete floor, probably insufficient. Poor overlaid self leveling screed already starting to crack.
8) Some plastering unfinished

9) Raised planting areas have been built in such a way that hidden joints are "open" allowing soil to wash away.
10) Replacement drains have been laid in a way that allow sewer gases to escape into a low confined area.
11) Stone patio area. There are no polite words I can use to say here to describe how bad it it is.
12) Did I mention that that Lenny's "workmen" filled the drains with cement and rubble, causing sewage to overflow into a neighbours garden?
Why did I pay Lenny? I am two things that he is not. Honest and honorable.
Looking after my dogs? Ha. He went to my home once to give them water.
As for Mr Rosen. Well, I would guess he's one of the bogus referee's Lenny gave me.
It's a shame that people wrting under pseudonyms who hve never had work done by Lenny use this site to liable him. I can honestly say that the work ECB has done for us has been excellent. It's not just that the work itself has been high quality. He has been responsive, gone out of his way to sort out problems and worked with us throughout.
If you want a reliable, thoughtful high; quality workman in the Bridlington area, you'd have to go a long way to better Lenny and his team.
