Excellent service. They were very nice and helpful. The food was good. When I went there wasn't a free table for me to sit at. They were able to accommodate quickly and I was able to sit comfortably and eat.
Probably the worst pub on Dartmoor. The interior has been in need of serious refurbishment for years and the food and service is very poor.
Had a quick look and it looked decent however we did not eat there
One of my favourite places to visit when on the moor. Located in Postbridge, just up from the famous clapper bridge, this is a cosy Hotel/Pub with lots of character. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the menu has lots to impress. Frequented by tourists, locals and walkers alike, this is the place to stay over night, have a meal or just drop in for a drink.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and even remembered what we had previously ordered some 3 months ago. Always greeted with a smile and and a joke - oh, and the food leaves no room for want
Very well received burger and beer (decent real ale) in the evening and then returned for cooked breakfast in the morning. At busy times it would be well worth booking, it was very popular when we visited. Staff friendly and accommodating wherever possible.
Lovely food, really friendly thanks for a lovely dinner will try to come again soon
Stopped intending to have a snack lunch and ended up having the Sunday Carvery! The beef was Dartmoor reared on the farm behind the pub. Great portions beautifully cooked and really friendly staff. We shall return!
