WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Bible
We believe the Bible to be the Scripture of God’s truth, infallible and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is the absolute and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

The Godhead
We believe there is one Almighty, Eternal and Unchanging God existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit – the Trinity and Unity of the Godhead.

The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ and his pre-existence as the Son of God who became the Son of Man.
We believe in His miraculous virgin birth and his sinless, spotless life.
We believe in His miraculous ministry.
We believe in His substitutionary and atoning death at Calvary, paying the full price God demanded for our sins.
We believe in His bodily resurrection, rising from the tomb on the third day according to the scriptures.
We believe He ascended bodily into heaven and stands before God as our High Priest making intercession for us. He is our mediator between God and man.
We believe in His "personal" second coming – bodily and visible, to establish His kingdom, to resurrect His blood washed people and judge the living and the dead.

Mankind
We believe in the total corruption of man - therefore because of that corruption he cannot save himself. Only an act of divine mercy and grace can save him. This alone comes through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Salvation
We believe Salvation is by Sovereign grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His Redeeming work.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit to be a ‘Divine Someone’ and not a mere something.
We believe in the sovereignty and works of God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the Baptism and fullness of the Holy Spirit, in His gifts and His graces and that they are still for today.
We believe in divine healing according to the scriptures and that the miraculous gifts recorded in the New Testament have never been taken out of the church.

The Church
We believe the Church of Jesus Christ is made up of men and women from every nation under Heaven who have experienced the new birth and are indwelt by the Holy Spirit.
We believe all professing Christians ought to be regular in public and private worship and should be in fellowship with a church which stands firmly on Biblical teaching and whose minister is soundly saved.

The Ordinances
We believe in the regular observance of the Lord’s Supper by believers.
We believe in Baptism by total immersion for those who have repented their sins and declared their faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe in anointing with oil in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of the body.

The Future State
We believe in the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to be the glorious and blessed hope for the believer who will experience eternal life and we believe in the eternal judgement of the unbeliever and Christ the rejecter in the lake of fire which scripture calls ‘the second death’.
