Four brave performers arrive with no script and not the faintest idea of what will happen. Willed on by a supportive crowd (that’s you!), through improvisation they create sketches and comic dramas that are amazingly inventive and sometimes take off into flights of surreal brilliance. Stephen Frost's Improv Allstars grew out of the popular TV show Whose Line Is It Anyway? and the Allstars troupe has played festivals all over the world.
Tickets £14-15

Duncan Galloway, band-leader and vocalist, and responsible for the musical direction, has been part of the orchestra for over ten years. He originally trained in London as an actor at the Webber Dougla...s Academy and his first experience of Dance band music was in the 1980's hearing Dennis Potter’s wonderful TV show Pennies from Heaven.

Went to see Iolanthe on Tuesday. Brilliant production from Sasha Ragan once again but made better by this intimate theatre

User

This theatre is the perfect venue for Sasha Regan's All Male G&S productions (even though they have to almost entirely reblock them because it is such a different space to most other theatres). I saw my fourth production (Iolanthe) last night and was enchanted by it.

User

Seasons in the Sun was hilarious. Absolutely loved it. Great cast, great evenings entertainment.

User

Lovely evening with a brilliant performance of Kiss Me. Greeted with friendly staff on arrival and served with a fab conversation about real ale at the bar. God choice of wine. Perfect rare evening out! Can’t wait to see Wuthering Heights!

User

Just like to review your booking office staff - had to change my tickets due to one of the party suffering a bereavement - such a considerate helpful lady made the transaction so easy - and then got a call at home to advise me to set off early due to roadworks - How fabulous is that!

User

It's A Wonderful Life - the best, the warmest, the most genuine Christmas entertainment I've seen in years. An outstanding production. If you want to temporarily escape the madness of Christmas, go see it.

User

In all my involvement in and watching theatre throughout my life I have never seen a better production, large or small, than the one today. Congratulations to East Riding Theatre for putting on It's A Wonderful Life. The cast were immense, the acting was sublime and the set was perfect. You don't need a visit to the west end as you won't find any better. Happy New Year

User

I went to see Wuthering Heights. It was excellent. The actors, although young, were very good. The production was spell binding. Very dramatic. The Theatre is very well run and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Looking forward to my next visit.

User

I love this place! On Thursday night for the performance in the bar they opened the patio doors at the back, and many of us were able to enjoy it from sitting outside. A perfect summer evening, great music, drink in hand and Mediterranean weather!

User

Hope & Social concluded their tour at ERT on Sunday 28th January, and everything about the evening was excellent. The venue is spacious yet intimate, the sound was great and the attentive staff were very welcoming. Of course, the on-site car parking is a lovely bonus. We made the trip from Scunthorpe, and will certainly be returning!

User
