We were a party of five and booked last minute on a busy Saturday night. Both great food and great service. Had a really lovely evening and would definitely go back �

We went last night, staff where lovely, food was tasty and hot..yes, you have to wait a little but that is what you expect when it is fresh. Will definetly be coming back.

We went first time yesterday was fantastic staff was lovely especially wasim very welcoming friendly person, food was amazing would deffo reccomend and we will be returning again to try something else off the menu 😋😋😋

We cancelled our Christmas booking with another restaurant actually on the night and rang East is East to see if there was any chance of them booking us in for 25 people!!! They fitted us in, served us well and did an excellent Christmas party recovery! Thank you so much xx

Great food, very accommodating. Great atmosphere for a large group on a Friday night. If you are after a quiet romantic setting then this may not be the place for you. Highly recommend and I will definitely visit again

We went to eastzeast last night for an evening meal with friends there was four of us, our table was booked for 8 but we only got taken to our table at half 8....i do under stand they are busy but when we went down to our table I saw there was about 4 or 5 tables free......then the waiter who looked after us was very rude when we came to order our food....i didn't get chance to finish was I was ordering before he walked off completely ignoring me.....after I asked to speak to a manager he came back over and I told him that he was a bit rude and I didn't even finish ordering my food before he walked off half way through he did say sorry but was still a bit rude about it.....i under stand it was a busy Saturday night but spending all of 5 minutes taking his time....customer service....would of made a difference to our experience here.... the food come fast which was good and it was beautiful but because of the waiter who had a power jet our order got confused at the table.

Over all the food was amazing and the waiter at the end made it up because he did he job was lovely about it and brought us a mint chocolate each that should of come with our bill. The 4 is for the food not the service I would rate that a 2.

Everyone was rushing too much and I nearly got knocked over a few times it was very hard to relax. My friends enjoyed the curry so if you don't mind that kind of busy environment it might be ok for you

It was busy which is fair enough, but we waited 45 mins or more for our starters, then another 45mins for our main meals which came and were not warm! The rice was not pilau rice, and looked like it was just microwave rice. Was not impressed with the service or the food! There seemed to be a lot of people complaining. I complained and was told the rice was pilau! It was brown, and when I complained about the food not being hot, we were told he would take it back but we were not prepared to wait even longer for food. Would not return again, I think the food is overpriced too! Was a shame as enjoyed it on New Year's Eve!

Distinctly average - my paneer dish was the most bland I have ever had in the world. Food was 'warm' and garlic on naan barely noticeable. A friend had samosas to start - minuscule and manufactured.



Have seen the quality of food decline over the years (although not the price) - probably because there is such little (if any) competition in Preston centre.

Went yesterday not a pleasant experience. Feel like food was warmed up rather then fresh. No seasoning in food. Ordered biryani received risotto. Fell sick after eating. Now have stomach problem (diarrhoea). Lets hope its not food poisoning.

Plus way too expensive for the service they provided.

Went on Saturday night 9 of us very disapointed service was rubbish, I had chicken Korma it was just pieces of chicken in something that looked like soup, waited over an hour for our main course to arrive, waiters could not be arsed,plates were cold when we finally got them, your waiters could do with some training, will NOT be going back there again and it cost us just short of £200

Rubbish service!! sent two curries back after asking for a tikka masala and getting two different curries back, not a masala! After complaining to the staff he said you can have a makani (the chef has recommended it). I wanted what I ordered and after two attempts they couldn't provide me with the curry I asked for meanwhile my husband's food had gone cold and the staff weren't even bothered and when I said I'm going I'm not waiting any longer the staff simply said you can go! They didn't offer an alternative and weren't bothered one bit! Will not be eating here again and I'm very disappointed!!

I have since found out as well that I would like to add that the chutney tray they gave us for our poppadoms at the start actually already had a piece of poppadom in it before they brought it us which my husband didn't want to mention on the night because he knew I wouldn't be impressed, just showing they must re use the chutney trays after other customers have used them! Appalling!!
