Raffle draw winner announcement !

User

Raffle tickets can now be purchased . All for a good cause!

User

Hi all,
We have recently started supporting and working with the Martin house hospice in Wetherby Leeds. Martin house is a home for terminally ill children who have very little life expectancy. I have seen first hand the amazing work they do and the support they provide to both the parents and children during this difficult period. This is why starting from Monday the 1st of March we will be holding a raffle prize where we will be giving away 2 tables for four . To enter sim...ply purchase a ticket for the price of £1 at the counter and the winners will be announced a week before Mother's Day all proceeding will go toward Martin house.
Thank you for your support

You get a warm welcome as soon as you walk through the door. The food is fantastic. I love the King Prawn Dopiaza with Garlic naan, and a mixed kebab starter. Yum yum!! You get excellent service. And don't forget your favourite tipple, to help the evening go with a bang!

User

Went for my birthday meal with fabulous family and friends. The meal was fantastic as always in all the times I have been to the Eastern Spice in have never had a bad meal. We even go there some times during the week for tea go give it a try

User

The food was really nice. Could taste the spices and although I like a hot curry it was made to satisfy my taste buds.

Service was quick and got free japatis as well. For a two course meal it was very reasonable.

Will definitely go again when we are in Cleckheaton..... 10/10

I live in Leicestershire now but when I have friends come to stay they bring me a few Curry's from The Eastern Spice to put in the freezer, I cannot get a decent curry down here, everything is a dyed orange/red slop! I'm afraid I didn't manage to get any curries the last time I was up but I was told that the food wasn't as good so I wondered if maybe the chef had changed as I believe someone on here said they got a dyed red curry!

User

I have been eating at Eastern Spice ever since it started as a takeaway using the old chip shop counter and standards have always been high even as times have changed and the menu choice increased. In order to keep this short I will just tell you about my favourite bits , everything is good but particularly the chapatti's as they are soft and moist. My current favourite meal is the meat thali , you get a choice of any 2 meat dishes any strength , special dahl rice and a plain naan bread all for £9-50 this is a big meal - dont order a starter and then this or you will not finish it unless you have an exceptional appetite. My favourite single dish curry is the Meat Bhuna - you can have this as hot as you like , usually madras is hot enough for most people. Added bonus is that you can take your own wine or beer , most times with a starter , a curry and rice or chapatti you are going to be around £10 per person or less , we often share a starter ! Nothing is a problem for the staff , the place now see's the 3rd generation working there. Occasionally you get a bit of a wait for your food but I never mind that knowing its all cooked fresh and we always clear it all up. Generally it is better to eat in than have a take away purely because your chapatti's are fresher, and it is no more expensive to eat there. I dont give out praise often but cannot fault this place , I think I have been going over 35 years now - never had to complain - and .......... for a change you can have Christmas Day curry dinner for a lot less than the Carveries will sting you for and take your own Champers - Give it a try - its worth travelling to as I have not had better !

User

I had the Lamb Karahi... it was fabulous together with the best pashwari naan in the country - delicious

From the serving hatch, back in the day, to the plush restaurant today. The Eastern Spice has continued to produce the finest Asian food. The cost is more than reasonable and the service top class.

User

User

Best curry restaurant in Cleckheaton

Never disappointed n feel part of the family

Lovely staff and listen to you when ordering

User

Best curry house in the area by far great food. Great staff five star easy

User

As always food was excellent, although I live in Liverpool now always try and get back as much as I can for the best curry in the world ( my opinion ). I used to live in Cleckheaton and remember the original takeaway "shack". Wazeem alway go out of his way to say hello to me and the family and asks about them when I am on my own. Anyone who has had a poor meal here, please go back and try again and tell them what you like. Thanks Wazeem from Martin and family

User

Anothet eat in get together, great food, great value, and excellent service as always! A definite favourite between my friends and family and will always get our 5* recomendation, thank you guys

User

Always brilliant here. My little boys love spending time with family here having a lovely meal. My boy even had a family meal here for his 4th birthday. I'm a little late posting this review but better later than never lol

Keep up the good work guys

I'd say 4.5 out of 5, but they don't have that option. I go to lots of different Indian restaurants and go here at least once a month. The food is always good, not the biggest variety, but they will try anything you ask. It's clean and the service is generally good. Only thing I don't like is when you upgrade your rice or sundry they charge full price for the replacement and not just the difference. Could also do with a night where they do some sort of deal. i.e. £11.95 for pops, starter, curry and sundry. All in all a nice place that I will keep visiting.

User

Absolutely disgusted!! Was up sick through the night after purposely ordering chicken tikka kebab as curries I had eaten there before were caked in red dye - which does nothing more than clog your arteries! Won't be calling again and wouldn't recommend the place.

User

should be no stars , I’ve had food poisoning since Sunday after ordering the Pathia , had none stop stomach pains, and the rest. DO NOT ENTERTAIN THIS PLACE
