Eastwell Manor A Champneys Spa Hotel

We stayed here celebrating our anniversary and had a really lovely time. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were so friendly, attentive and polite. The spa was excellent also.

Very beautiful hotel and grounds. Staff was great. We had a very long time day of travel and didn't get to eat dinner until very late. The kitchen was closed but they still made us some food. Great experience!

Beautiful hotel and by far the best food out of all the Champneys hotels! Even the lunch is waiter service 3 course meal. Great selection of beverages.
This will definitely be my Champneys spa stay of choice from now on, especially as all the rooms are getting refurbished too.
Champneys please keep the menu as it stands and don't introduce the too lean, unfulfilling options of your other hotels.

Booked a spa day for my wife's birthday. Really wouldn't bother if you are considering.

A voucher was included - they did not make my wife aware of this. They refused any treatments claiming that everything was fully booked (not advised when I booked). She turned up five minutes late for a massage which I pre paid for and was advised to take a seat. After 45 minutes, the receptionist told her she had missed her treatment.

Called and was promised a refund, had to chase them twice for it and still not got it.

No towels in the pool, lunch wasn't good.

Couldn't have been worse really.

We have now stayed on two occasions - firstly on our wedding night and then more recently for our anniversary. Excellent offers are available online, with spa access, dinner, bed and breakfast for £149. The main manor house is beautiful, with large gardens and grounds, with boules, croquet, badminton and tennis available. There is a golf course and the spa, where you can take a book and relax all day! Food was excellent, friendly, relaxed yet efficient service also good - the only downside, hence 4 instead of 5 stars was that the serving staff could have done with washing their clothes..... They were charming but needed a second set of uniform. We will be going again, and again - at least, I hope so!

Visited for the half day falconry experience. Friendly hotel staff and very well maintained gardens. Didn't use the actual hotel facilities but all looked well maintained

Excellent Service in a lovely setting. We were at a private lunch for 15 people and were very impressed by the friendly and efficient service we received, nothing was too much trouble. The Manor house itself has a relaxed atmosphere and the gardens are lovely particularly as the lawns allow for active children to get rid of their excess energy! Overall Eastwell Manor and its staff made a fabulous day into a perfect one.

Lovely on the outside but was very poor. Wae were not told upon booking that the spa and the pavilion (informal) restaurant were both closed. The formal restaurant has a formal dress code of smart trousers, smart shoes and a collared shirt which we couldn't adhere to therefore our only option was room service with a £5 tray charge! They offered no discount for this. 'Deluxe' room was shoddy. Dirty stained furniture, one wobbly broken chair, nicotine stained phone, vhs player! Wonky lampshades. It looked like a grandmas house that hadn't been updated or cleaned in 60 years rather high end vintage / historical. Very disappointed. Decided to leave and stay somewhere else. Will not return.
