We were there last night for my birthday. Had a hot buffet. It was absolutely amazing. Well worth £10 a head. Loads left, wish I could have it now. Staff were great. Will deffo be back....5����� thank you

Stumbled upon this place yesterday whilst visiting Carlisle. And what a find, the food was incredible, everyone tried everyone else’s and couldn’t decide whose was best.

The general feel, and music was excellent and the staff very friendly. Especially the guy who memorised five different drink and food orders, top work my friend.

Looking at the menu has convinced us we need to revisit to sample more tasty sounding meals and dip into the cocktails and gin!

We live three hours away, but could see us travelling that far especially just to experience eaten by monsters again.

Well played indeed to everyone involved.

Loved our afternoon yesterday.. pre Bryan Adams food and cocktails.. service was top notch .. especially the wee guy from Antrim town.. (good luck in Manchester) food was amazing .. great portions and well presented .. will definitely be back again .. so easy to book online .. great job guys xx

Just had texan hot dog and cajun fries ... best hot dog meal ive ever had and friendly staff to boot 5 star all day

Brilliant food! The 3 starters for £13 is great value and the steak for mains served with a side of mac is excellent, really tender, we will be back to try out more from the menu x

Best long island iced tea I've ever had didn't have anything to eat but the food looked good

Arrived to find the place packed and a nice happy atmosphere, we were looked after by Bethany who went above and beyond to make sure we were well looked after, she is a credit to the staff there. Food was fantastic as was the service we received, our second time there and definitely not our last. Keep up the good work.

Always good service and the drinks are fabulous and good prices 👌🏻The only time I had a bad experience in here is when I was with a large group of friends and I was the only one asked for I.d ( I'm 33) and because I don't carry any I had to have a coke 😂.. I let it go as I always have a great time at eaten by monsters

12 of us were there for a buffet tea to celebrate my daughter in laws special birthday. The girls on duty were amazing - very attentive and couldn't have done any more to make the evening go well. Thanks girls!

Food was amazeballs but bloody hell does this place need floor staff! If (as told) folk have to wait at the bar to pay for a meal then I dont think table service is neccessary. If y'all want the tips...

We came for a 50th birthday party, drinks where good as always, but we got rudely told by one of the bar staff that we where being too loud and they had to turn the music up 2s, we where not drunk in any way as this was our 2nd pub we had been in and if they had said to begin with we where too loud then of course we would of apologised. If you have to turn the music up 2s then of course people are going to have to talk louder as to be fair you couldn't hear your self think.

Once we left we went to last zebra as we booked for a meal to be told they had been radio to say we where being disruptive and should not be allowed in.

After much consideration from last zebra we where allowed in, this of course tho ruined the night resulting in the birthday girl crying.

Even the security guard on the door said he knew we were not causing trouble and it was a miss understanding.

Terrible the way we treated!! And put a damper on the rest of what should of been a brilliant night

Waited 45 mins for food for three people then got told off in front of other diners for letting my 16 year old daughter sip my cocktail. Food was nice but won't be back.

On entrance this evening the service was terrible. Spoken to in an infantile manner, waiting at the bar; despite there being 4 members of staff behind the bar. I had to laugh after being told that, „you need to be patient“.



And Carlisle wonders why it has a bad reputation. Bars being run by students and very small fish in a very small pond.



Get me back to a real city.
