Amidst the excitement of the Beer Festival and the start of the new season, I'm afraid we have to take a moment to focus on the 'boring but important' topic of Annual Subs. These are now due at the rates below:
Adult – Full member – Player – £40/£3 per month Adult – Full member – Non-player – £25/£2 per month Adult – Full member – Student – £15/£1 per month... Adult – Social member – £15/£1 per month Colts – Player registration – £10 Colts – Playing fees for season – £75/£6 per month Junior – Player registration – £2 Junior – Playing fees for season – £75/£6 per month 100 club – £12/£1 per month
In addition to the payment, to ensure we are compliant with new GDPR guidelines, EVERYBODY MUST COMPLETE A REGISTRATION FORM. Everybody includes players, non-players, social members, everybody. Simply, if you have not completed a form you are not considered a club member. Please click the link below to complete the form. On behalf of the clubs communication director, I am trying to source approx. 20 high quality images that represent the breadth of the club’s recent activities in minis , juniors, girls, ladies and DofE. This will be included in a presentation to attract sponsorship support for the club.
Are there any budding photographers out there, who have in their family album some photos that they would be willing to share with the club and Chris to enable the presentation to be... complete?
If you do then please get in touch and I will pass on your details to Chris who will then contact you directly to arrange getting the images to him.

Splitting into four teams there's so many of them! Great to see the Walking Rugby sessions thriving.

So much for a "closed" season; we have all kinds of activity going on at the minute!
Mondays we have Walking Rugby, in conjunction with Sharks Community Trust, where we have great numbers enjoying the game at a slower pace.
Tuesdays have senior training for the men, women, colts and girls. Lots of new faces coming down, but room for plenty more.
... Wednesdays are the home of Touch Rugby for people looking for high energy but no contact, and numbers are growing for that week on week.
Thursdays have more senior training for the men, women and colts.
Nothing on Fridays at the moment, but in three weeks we'll have the Beer & Gin Festival!

On the Saturday we have confirmed entertainment from Moonlight Rumours as well as rugby with the Eccles men taking on their visitors from Halifax RUFC.

I'm delighted to announce that this year's Eccles Beer Festival will also encompass the Men's first game of the season. The 1XV will welcome Halifax to Gorton Street on Saturday 18th August. Another highlight to add to a great weekend!

Hosted us yesterday as part of a round robin. Even though the weather was bad our spirits were not dampened as the club had put on good food, drinks and entertainment for St. paddy's day. Thanks!

Great place. Good people. Friendly and family atmosphere

Great community club serving Eccles Salford and Greater Manchester. All welcome from junior to adult come & see for yourself.

Eccles RFC possibly the best amateur set-up in the area. Plus they have a club house worth a visit if only passing.

A great place, friendly people, excellant beer and food. A real family place. Children love learning to play rugby here
