About Eclectic Dance Academy
Eclectic Dance Academy is an exciting new dance school offering a range of ballet, tap, street and musical theatre classes to both chidren and adults.

4: 30-5: 15pm Little Street (1) (under 6's)
5: 30-6: 15pm Little Street (2) (5-7yrs)
6: 30-7: 15pm Primary Street (8yrs and over)
7: 30-8: 30pm Adult Street (16yrs & over)
Saturday
10-10: 45am Baby Ballet & Tap (under 6's)
11-11: 45am Mini Glee Club (ALL AGES)
12-12: 45pm Primary Ballet (6yrs and over)
1-1: 45pm Gym Dance Class (ALL AGES)
2-2: 45pm Street (5yrs and over)
Principal teacher, Miss Cassie, has over 10 years teaching experience. Miss Cassie has been dancing since the age of 2 1 /2yrs, taking this to the next level when she left school at 16yrs and moved to Coventry. Here she trained professionally for three years at Pattinson Theatre Arts, under the direction of Miss Betty Pattison, founder of the IDTA Ballet syllabus. Here Miss Cassie studied a wide range of dance styles including ballet, tap, modern jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, national, street, commercial etc as well as singing, drama and verse and prose technique. She gained a vast amount of performing experience and also obtained Associate level teaching qualifications under the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) in ballet, tap, modern jazz and freestyle. After taking part in many professional pantomimes, shows and cabarets, Miss Cassie moved to London to live her dream of becoming a top class performer. However, her dreams were dashed due to a back injury and therefore she returned to the North to fulfil her dream of passing on her knowledge and experience in the form of a young and dynamic dance school.
Wanting to understand the dancers body further, Miss Cassie also went back to university where she graduated with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Sports Therapy, which allows her to diagnose and treat injuries competently.
We aim to provide children and adults with a safe and professional environment, allowing them to express there creativity and enthusiasm through the medium of dance.

*DVD ORDERS*
You can now order your show DVD 😊 if you would like to order a copy please bring your £12 cash in an envelope with your child’s name and how many copies you would like on the front, to reception where your name will be added to our order list. We are only taking CASH for all DVD orders and your name will not be added to the order list until full payment has been made. This is due to losing money in previous years.
You have until the 29th June to get your orders ...in, we will be taking no more orders after that date.

Well, what can I say! I can’t even put into words how I’m feeling right now! Proud, happy, on top of the world ... that doesn’t even come close!
I am so proud of each and every child who danced today, from my cute and tiny little babies to my crazy big girls you all danced your socks off and blew me away! I’m so lucky to have you all at my dance school, I wouldn’t swap you for the world!
Thank you parents for continuing to believe in me by bringing your children to dancing ...every week. I honestly love them all like my own and because of you guys I have a job that I love 🥰 it’s been a bit harder than normal this year, not having Miss Julie at the dance school, but the support you have all shown has really helped me so thank you ❤️
Thank you for my card and gifts, I honestly don’t expect to get anything, just seeing the children’s smiley faces is enough, but at the same time I am truly grateful and everything I’ve received I treasure.

I’m sure you are all aware it is BBC radio 1’s big weekender this weekend! I mean how dare they try and compete with our show right? 🤷🏼♀️
There may be some road disruptions to and from the dance school and to and from the theatre on Sunday so just a heads up!
... I know for a fact our “big weekender” will be miles better than anything little mix can pull off 😝🤣

I can’t believe show is this weekend? Time has just flown over!
Just a few reminders:
Classes are on as normal this week, and we will be off next week for half term hols 😊
... If you have yet to pay your £20 show fee, please could you pay this this week to reception, Miss Cassie or by bank transfer, thank you.
If you are taking part in our show, please drop children off at 12pm at the stage door and pick them up approx 7:30pm for the stage door also ❤️
