2015 Jeep Renegade C635 DDCT came in with a gearbox whine after only doing just over 10,000miles 😱. After stripping the gearbox it was obvious that the bearing had failed on one of the output shafts. We found that the output shaft was well over shimmed from factory 👀. So we carried out a full bearing rebuild and re-shimmed the transmission. This is one of the new gearboxes that are fitted in Fiats, Alfa Romeos, Jeep and Dodge. We are sure to see plenty more if they are sent out of factory like this one was. After fitting the original clutch pack back on using the latest LUK tools we Reprogrammed the transmission and the vehicle drives like a new car should lol 😂. #ecotorque #gearbox #clutch #fiat #ddct #jeep #dodge #cars #engineering #alfaromeo #luk

Ford 2.0 diesel DCT450 Powershift gearbox clutch spring failure. Very common failure on the DCT450. When this failure occurs we strip down and clean the whole transmission including Valve body as the tiny plastic retainers breakdown and get internal of the gearbox.
