Formed in 1994 ECV is a non-profit training and consultancy Company, specialising in management disciplines relating to the international engineering, construction and infrastructure sectors, with offices in Brussels, St. Petersburg, Krakow, and Zagreb; ECV works in Europe, the CIS, Caribbean, Africa, North America, the Far East and Middle East. ECV is an Affiliate of FIDIC and is an accredited FIDIC Training Company. With respect to training, ECV undertakes public and "in-house" courses for Employers, Engineers, Contractors specialising in the use of the FIDIC Conditions of Contract. ECV has developed, in agreement with FIDIC, Training Modules which are presented Worldwide (80 countries in the last 5 years) involving over 15, 000 professionals. ECV provides professional consultancy services to selected Clients on contractual issues relating to the use of FIDIC Contracts on matters such as: • Interpretation of Contract Clauses• Strategic contractual analyses• Contractual Risk Analyses at Tender, Award and Throughout Contract• Editing and advice on Contract Preparation including Particular Conditions• Auditing Contracts on Contractual Basis• Project Cost Evaluation• Claims Management• Claims Preparation• Contractual Correspondence• Preparation of Dispute Adjudication Papers• Preparation for DAB Hearings• Representing Parties at DAB Hearings ECV has undertaken this work since 2001 with a portfolio of major international construction companies.
