Wonderful spa day! I've been to Eden Hall several times now and have always really enjoyed it. My Indian head massage was superb and Jade really worked the tension in my shoulders. My friend had the signature spa treatment and was really impressed. It wasn't too busy in the pool or heat rooms which was lovely. It might be worth asking people to respect other people's peace and quiet in the rooms when you ask people to leave phones in the lockers as there were some very chatty ladies in the sauna when everyone else was sat quietly. Great service, great food, great facilities though thank you!

User

What an amazing special day at Eden Hall to celebrate my friends 50th birthday. We were both spa virgins so didn’t know what to expect. From the minute we walked through the door to the minute we left we felt very spoilt. We booked the serene spa package which included a 50 min treatment. We tried the hula hooping class which was great fun and Pilates (still aching now). The lunch was delicious and plentiful and the birthday dessert was a great touch for my friend. The only tiny niggle was some gentleman were walking into the buffet area bare foot, not what I want to see when fetching food. Will definitely be visiting again.

User

We visited here yesterday for the day .It was my best visit ever and the four of us had a superb day .We enjoyed all the classes we did .The gardens were looking great and plenty of sun beds to relax in .It felt less busy with people outside as well .The staff were all great ,very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful .Great idea to have the iced water bowl and fresh face clothes to cool you down and fresh drinking water everywhere to keep you hydrated in the heatwave .Will definitely visit again

Not often that I get home from a spa day and I can’t fault a single thing. Eden Hall Day spa was fantastic - staff were polite & helpful from the minute you stepped in the door, food was lovely, aqua detox area (heat & ice /hydro bit) was clean & spacious, lots of sun beds around the pool, 2 hot tubs outside, and a spacious conservatory, meeting area too... and treatments were amazing too!

User

I've been visiting Eden hall for ten years and every visit has been superb. Facilities are fantastic and extremely clean, staff are always friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. When we first started coming to Eden the day price was 69.99 which I thought was very very reasonable as you could enjoy all the facilities and receive a treatment for around £100 (depending on what treatment you chose.) I do now think the prices are very steep. On our latest visit on the 12th May we paid £105 for the day which included no extras. I thought the treatment prices were expensive. I did choose to have a pedicure and the beautician was friendly and professional and I did enjoy my treatment but did feel at £47.00 it was expensive. The food was as ever incredible, however I did not feel the selection In the buffet was as vast as before the price increase. 0n our latest visit there was a mix up with a friends birthday cake we had provided being taken to the wrong table. When we pointed out the mistake I must add the waitress was extremely apologetic and really could not do enough for us. We were provided with two free bottles of prosseco with the choice of saving one for later on in the day. eden hall also provided a beautiful chocolate cake which was brought out and again we were given the choice of saving it for later on in the day. I can honestly say in the ten years I have been visiting Eden hall this is the first issue I've ever encountered and I was truly very impressed with the customer service they provided. The waitress who made the mistake was genuinely truly gutted with her mistake (let's face it we all make them ) and could not have been more apologetic. All in all another fabulous day at Eden hall x

User

First visit but from arrival every member of staff welcoming and friendly. Treatments were great and food was lovely. My husband and I would definitely return.

If I was to offer any criticism it would be that the pool jet/jacuzzi is the complete opposite of relaxing, it’s awful, splashes up from the middle like a volcano stinging your eyes, the side jets do very little. I had waited for ages for them to come on as it looked good however, myself and lots of others did laugh about it.

Everything else was perfect, thank you for a lovely day.

User

1st visit yesterday with my daughter. What a fab place. Love the relaxation room. The conservatory is another great place to just chill out. Pool was quite noisy in the morning but quiet later. Great idea having the buffet area to add to ordered food item at lunch time. Just one thing to note - when ordering cake in the conservatory this was taken out of the chiller and left on a very warm counter for about 10 minutes while drinks were made. Better to get the cake out when the drink is made.

User

I’ve visited Eden Hall lots of times, at least twice a year for the last few years. Today we were greeted well and given a small hot chocolate on arrival. A nice touch. All staff were friendly and professional. The food was delicious and well presented. I was a little disappointed by the spa and pool area, it was really noisy and hard to relax in. Despite polite notices not to claim loungers with towels all beds were pretty much lying empty with towels on them. This really stops me from giving 5 stars as it did not aid relaxation. The treatment was quality as ever and the four of us enjoyed our day overall.

User

It was mine and my firneds first experience yesterday at the spa. On entering I was greeting by a lovely lady and given a delicious little mini hot chocolate. We were given a great tour by a very lovely lady.

The food was so delicious and staff super nice. I was meant to have a back massage but because I have had back surgery 3-4 months ago they offered me a great facial and massage of shoulders/arms/hands... highly recommend Rhea my therapists!

I will definitely be returning, the only fault would be people coming into the slumber lounge from the gym making noise and the pool jets etc weren’t on at all when we lounged.

See you all again soon!

User

I really enjoyed my first experience at Eden Hall. Gorgeous rooms, food, treatment and spa. Most of the staff were lovely, Heather who gave us a tour and did my treatment was great! However a few people just seemed to be in terrible moods. The girl at FoH was rude, and first impressions really stick with you, especially when you’re coming for a relaxing day away. There were also a couple of people at the restaurant area who just seemed in total disdain of anyone who asked a question, which put us on edge. It would have been a 5* review otherwise!

User

I have visited Eden Hall day spa on multiple occasions recommending to friends and family. I have bought vouchers as gifts. My friend (birthday treat) were greeted on arrival and helped ourselves to jot chocolate. First port of call was the gym which was empty. When then went to the pool area which was quite noisy. The spa areas were busy and noisy not very relaxing. We had lunch which was excellent apart from pre paying for prosecco which I was made to go and get the voucher which I had left in my locker being told by the waitress that anyone could say they had s voucher. Why not charge it to my bill and then deduct on check out. If I had known I would had not pte ordered just ordered at lunch. The pool was totally different in the afternoon really quiet and relaxing. Presumably due to clients having treatments. The spa was again quieter and relaxing. A really lovely place to celebrate s friends birthday. Only disappointed that’s as promised my friends lunch should have been served on a happy birthday plate. I have raised these points on a customer survey and at check out

User

Had such a relaxing day yewterday....Giving you your itenary on check in apposed to having to trade up to the conservatory to come back down again works so much better well done Eden Hall! Snowing whilst in the hot tubs (which are our favourite feature) was definitely one off the bucket list.

The two treatments we had the staff were so friendly (Ellie and Tracet) and really added to our experience! If I was going to suggest any improvements, although OK the food did not seem as high a standard as previous years, you used to feel like you were really being spoilt!

The improvements you can see some of the toilets and treatment rooms are fab - All it's missing is a butler round the hot tubs to bring you a drink

Thank you for a lovley day xxx

User

Had a lovely relaxing visit today this was probably my 6th or 7th visit and I've never been dissapointed however today I did notice that the pool area is beginning to look a bit tired and in need of a bit if tlc. The windows around the pool looked really grubby and had a small amount of green mould on them. Also the window surround was all rusty. One of the little separate pools wasn't working and also the sauna was out of order. This isn't a cheap day spa and I just think it lacked that little bit of attention to detail that used to make it stand out from the rest!!

User

The day went well admittedly bought a deal as a late booking on Eden Hall site. Say went well except for picnic basket in afternoon it really is not worth the money paid. On the day we booked we we had the choice of ham and mustard or salmon and cucumber no normal sandwiches were offered as in cheddar or vegetarian choice. We were told it would be ready at 4 so we ordered at 4.10 and at 4.40 asked how long it would be we were told a while as they were busy. I nicely explained we were told it should be ready as we had to leave for 5.15 and the lady sighed as brought the most shocking basket two apples one had just been dropped as it was split. A sandwich which was stale and literally wrapped in cling film and cake which was dreadfully. No plate napkin and a glass of prosecco. When I saw how delicious the cream tea/afternoon teas looked I was so shocked and disappointed. Upon leaving I was never asked if I had any issues and if I hadn't been in such a rush I definitely would have left a revue. No feedback on our day has ever been asked for. I feel so disappointed to the end of a good day. Don't bother with a picnic basket

User

Overall really nice venue and superb staff, there were a few oddities throughout the day that have left me perplexed...

1) a couple, doing what looked and sounded like foreplay in the heavily packed slumber room 🤮 and then at it again in the pool.

2) People talking in the slumber room 🤦🏻‍♀️ Despite the numerous signs and warnings from staff it is a quiet place - no talking!!

3) Altering my pre-booked appointments for people who arrived 20 minutes before me on the day... despite explaining that I can’t have treatments later than pre-booked due to returning to put my baby to sleep 🤦🏻‍♀️ If someone had said on the phone to guarantee your bookings you need to get here 15 minutes prior to opening and queue up... I would have done that.

So I almost had a bad experience at the spa, but the staff ultimately saved it for me.

I hope when anyone else goes, they don’t encounter the same issues as me!

First time visit at a spa and mixed review for my husband and I:

Positives- the pool, hot tubs and steam rooms were fab (except one that wasn’t working)! Bit too hot for me but that’s personal choice my husband enjoyed them

The conservatory areas were lovely too. Reception staff lovely and friendly and helped with directions. Beautiful place and wasn’t too busy for a Saturday.

The restaurant was spacious and visitors were timed so not too busy and waitress sat us and took orders and meals all came quite quickly

Do like that your given a card which they use to bill you if you want drinks etc so can pop purse in locker tho it’s easier to spend..... (they do say waterproof at reception but mine separated and I would’ve lost it if hubby hadn’t noticed so may be they need to think of another way to print them and a better way to attach to your band)

Negatives - we arrived at 10am and our allocated meal time wasn’t until 1.45pm! Not sure if allocated depending on what time you arrive or not but when you’ve been up and out early and travelling it’s a long time to wait! Weren’t advised we could’ve gone and ordered breakfast from upstairs or the times it finished which would’ve been useful. As a first time spa goer I didn’t have a clue lol

My hubby ate his meal and didn’t get to the desert before he had an upset tummy and we had to leave early.... for me the desert was the best bit!

Asked for a gin, told out of stock so selected another, came back and that was out too - need be more prepared and stock up for visitors at the price you pay even if offer of the day!

Ordered coke and lemonade which not only took quite a while to get to us but was £6 for a small bottle of each and cake around £5 a slice, wine/prossecco £5/£6 a glass just to give you an idea of prices.

One of the steam rooms and jet pools wasn’t working so made other areas a little more busy and do expect at the price you pay for everything to be fully functional

Overall the staff were really friendly and a beautiful place and grounds lovely. Was really relaxing. Unfortunately because of the food we won’t be returning as it spoilt it for us and cut the day short and we didn’t have any treatments as needed to go!

User

Very poor form to be charging people a cancellation fee today considering the advice in this horrendous weather is not to travel into Lincolnshire. ( and very well publicised problems on the A46 and A1 today) According to you I should be greatful I'm only being charged £5 pp - I could be losing ALL of the nearly £900 we have spent with you!! When the authorities are advising do not travel I really feel this is bad form from you. I love your spa and we will reshedule, but on this I think you have got it very wrong. Very disappointed. Especially as this is my sister in law to be hen do and we will now not be able to get together before her wedding. Very sad all round.

User

Been using the spa days sale offer for a couple of years now and it’s been fab but so disappointed on our last visit the food was great as always but it was so over crowded, we’ve never really managed to get into the hot tubs at all when we’ve been but this time we couldn’t even get a seat in the conservatory throughout the whole day, it was so loud aswell and not very relaxing at all x

User

Very disappointed to hear a dear friend had to cancel at the last minute and was charged £40 for the privilege. This lady has been bravely battling cancer for 4 years and continues to do so with so much grace and positivity, she was so looking forward to her special day and heartbroken she couldn’t make it due to this dreadful disease. Needless to say won’t bother with Eden Spa and I will be sharing my friends experience
