We have been awarded a £1, 975, 800 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to restore & celebrate Middleton's unique heritage

The Edgar Wood and Middleton Heritage Initiative was awarded a £1, 975, 800 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund to repair and restore Middleton's unique collection of Edgar Wood architecture and the town's other important historic buildings.

The Initiative will run for 5 years between Spring 2011 and 2016 and will give local people to opportunity to learn about why their local heritage is of national and international importance and to take part in helping to conserve it for the town's future.
