their automated message says: 9-5 Mon to Fri, but typical of them then not to answer when their automated message has finished with its monotonous male voice at 4.50 to let the phone ring out to 5pm...disgraceful ......every second is important Edmonton CC, shame on you

I was pleading for myself facing a litigant heavily represented and the judge treated me abysmally to the point that I lost my ability to present the most essentials of my case

User

Rude rude man who slams the phone down. My solicitor has never experienced such unprofessional rudeness..that is IF they answer the phone!

The worst Court in the country.

My divorce should be really straight forward, both sides agreed 1.5 years ago. The judge keep peaking on silly things and sending back papers and every time the papers return to the court we are waiting for 6 -10 weeks.

The staff are either lazy or incompetent or both. No matter what time I call I cannot get through to anyone. They have an emergency appointment number, which is redundant as A) the recorded operator mumbles the number down the phone and B) No one answers when you call the emergency number.

The slobs working here are a huge waste of tax funding and ought to be ashamed of themselves. I shall be writing to the local MP as quite frankly the level of incompetence and laziness is perverting the course of justice.

I should not give even one star, but had to to be able to POST. This court has very rude and unprofessional staff, no courtesy at all on the phone! (Especially a Mrs Carol). There should be quality control, for they have no good service and their answers are just so harsh and unhelpful (e.g how long it will take : they replied "what is humanly possible!".

I was there for 10am, managed to pay and display outside. Was seen by 11:20am, pleasant judge who was good with the children (car accident claim I had to take them). Was out of there by 11:30am. When I go home My daughter realised she left behind her new teddy, I called the number of the court from google and they answered after a few minutes of being engaged, I explained the situation and said if they find it to call me and I left my number. Two hours later i get a call back to say they have it and I am collecting tomorrow. :-)

if I could award this negative stars I would. It's unclear what purpose this court serves. If you manage to get through on the phone, the staff will give you incorrect information. I have had a case dismissed because a clerk entered the wrong date on the order and even though it was their mistake, they still struck out the claim. District Judge Lethem has to the worst Judge in England. If you expect a staff who know what they are doing and Judges who apply the law fairly, stay away from this court. At some point, some one must look into their conduct, I can't imagine I'm the only one with these experiences.

Terrible attitudes and a total lack of professionalism. The person that answered the phone was awful!

The worst Court in the country.

I am a solicitor so regularly call the Courts, but I have never had so much trouble getting through to a Court as I have with the Edmonton Court.

If I could give less than one star I would. A disgrace of a Court.

I have found them perfectly efficient and helpful on the 'phone giving advice on procedural matters. It is not always easy to understand how the system works and what you a required to do to help the court (and so yourself), they provide a useful service.
