We didn't win a golden ticket for a free meal this evening- but we did have the best fish n chips supper ever! Edwards is the plaice to be ;-)

We booked a table last night at Edwards Plaice well we were so impressed not only with the delicious food but with the excellent service. The staff were so lovely, helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Our meals were freshly cooked and portions were plentiful

We will definately be returning

Visited today as a family of five...what an amazing chip shop!! Staff were so lovely,lovely and welcoming to our children,nothing was to much trouble but most of all the food tasted like nothing I'd tasted before in a chip shop!!

The vegan 'bab was gorgeous and the chips were incredible. They even had vegan mayo, which most places that have vegan options overlook. The staff were really friendly and although it was busy, they even took the time to let me know about other plant based options that were being introduced/considered. Total winner.

The best fish and chips ever , I would recommend everyone to try them , I have been several times after my son recommended them and have not yet had a bad meal , and to make it even better, the service is great as well, they deserve to do well xx

That has to be the best fish and chips I have ever had and I can see why you were busy. Given the fact the was a queue the service was exeptional to say the least!!. If I had to describe teamwork in the workplace thats it, right there. Thankyou and you will see me regularly from now on.

Thank you for such a wonderful meal. I was in the small group yesterday (Saturday) evening after we spent the day at Hay-On-Wye Festival.

I had the Haddock and cone of chips with a glass of water. The Haddock was just like eating clouds.

This was all cooked fresh upon checking all our pre-orders and the team was very welcoming even under such a rush on not only with our orders but your regular customers either in person on via home delivery.

100 out of 100 for your all round service and food.

Me and my mum won a golden ticket yesterday and won a free meal and can of Budweiser. Very good service and tasty food, good options on the menu. Best chip shop in Hereford.

Just had the best fish bits and chips ever.

I organised a coach trip for 25 people to The Hay festival and selected Edwards Plaice from the internet as a convenient stop in Hereford on our return journey. I liaised with owners beforehand and they were professional, efficient and very helpful in sorting out our pre-order. When we arrived, the tables were laid out and the exceptionally calm and friendly staff checked our orders, sorted drinks, added extra orders, cooked and served the food fresh and hot with very little time between the first and last meals to be served. This was despite our arrival coinciding with their Saturday evening rush. All members of the party thoroughly enjoyed their variety of meals with good choice of fish/sausages/veggie burgers. Although the restaurant area was very "cosy" with 25 of us in it, this added to the fun and cameraderie! Staff coped exceptionally well. The bill was complicated because of the trip funding but it was sorted efficiently and in the best way to accommodate the funding procedure. Prices at around £6 -£9 per head for supper and drinks, including alcohol for some, was very reasonable. Many thanks to Edwards Plaice for a memorable and tasty supper and a very enjoyable time. I would thoroughly recommend this

I entered a competition and won haddock salad and chips! Couldn't believe how soft, flaky and fresh the fish was.. The batter was gorgeous! The chips were lovely too.. I'd never tried haddock before this as I always go for cod.. But I'd deffinately go for haddock again! If I didn't know it was haddock I would have thought it was cod! ( am I'm a VERY fussy eater) We also tried the curry sauce and a battered sausage which was delicious too. My husband loved the salad and said the dressing was lovely.. I Would definitely recommend! We will be back ☺️��

Finally somewhere where I can get a vegan take out !!!! Vegan kebab, salad, garlic mayo, chilli sauce and pita bread. All your hard work has paid off and your food is lovely !!! Lots of veggie option along side the usual offerings. Well done and we will be back . ��� ..... photo to follow....

Absolutely fantastic chip shop. Been too many times as it's just round the corner lol. Went in ten minutes before they closed the other day and they couldn't have been more helpful offering to cook anything I wanted. Keep it up xx
