Went for the first time today as had a free birthday meal. Absolutely fabulous, food divine and cocktails. Lovely friendly staff. Will definitely be going again & highly recommend �

Went for the 3rd time last night and as previous visits it didn’t disappoint. Services has always been excellent, gorgeous food, stake was cooked to perfection and portion size just right. We opted to eat off the prifix menu which is amazing value. Cocktails are also amazing

We visited for an an early tea and a few drinks at 6pm on a Friday night. Fixed price menu was very good value for money, cocktails were 2 for 1 and delicious! The food was a high standard and staff very helpful.

We booked the side room for my wife’s 60th birthday and had a great time. Dan and his staff looked after all 25 of us all evening and everyone had nothing but praise for the service. The staff even brought the birthday cake in and sang happy birthday to my wife with us. Whenever we needed something they were there like a shot.

The food was was lovely and everyone enjoyed everything they had.

We’ve been here a few times and love it so much we just keep going back.

Visited last night with my husband and we had a super time. Lovely food, great cocktails. Can't wait to return and have signed up to the ego club so next time will get 25% off! Not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for and everything we had was really nice. Our waiter was great. Didn't get his name- young lad. Very polite and attentive. We're only 5 mins away so will be coming back soon!

My wife and I went to The Bulls Head for the ‘steak night’ on Tuesday advertised, my wife had ribeye steak & I had the porterhouse steak with a request for them to be ‘very well done but not cremated’, both steaks were grilled to absolute perfection all the way through and both served with tomato, mushroom, chips & onion rings, everything tasted wonderful and full of flavour.

Top marks to the duty chef. We found all the staff extremely professional and made you feel wanted, and not an inconvenience, a rarity these days. We would hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone. 👍👍👍👍👍

My friend took me here for the first time today for lunch what can I say the lovely Charming dan attended to our every need , great advise on drinks which was perfect �, the food and desert was perfect in every way . The service was second to non I left there very happy indeed , I would recommend the pan fried cod it was delicious will definitely be back

Faultless in every way. Great staff, wonderful service and food to die for. The 2 for 1 cocktails are a must have. We've dined at Ego on a few occaisions and thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the service. The flowers for mum on Mothers Day were a nice touch. Well done Ego - keep up the good work.

Absolutely loved it! Jessica (our waitress) was professional, attentive and just brilliant at her job. The decor is beautiful, the food... Delicious, fresh and quality.. Will definitely be back. Horbury is certainly becoming the place to eat.

Celebrating brothers birthday. Been coming to this pub on & off for the last 17yrs. Always had a good night with a good atmosphere. Finding of late though that if it’s not in the menu you cannot have it. For example my brother ordered pizza with the choice of toppings and requested a few olives to be chopped up if possible....No! Could he have mushrooms.........We don’t have any! Overall I’m not complaining just suggesting a slight bend in the menu would be great. Will continue to go though as these are only minor suggestions. 👍

We spent New Years Eve here. Got off to a bad start as we were made to stand outside until 7.30pm - we had gone 15mins early for a drink but we weren’t allowed inside until they had finished setting up. It was raining and cold but we did stand under the doorway shelter until they opened the door.

The food was lovely, the live entertainment was good and the waiting staff were extremely friendly. The table was ours for the evening which we didn’t know, I booked online so didn’t realise the night was going to be a set menu and live entertainment, I would of liked to have been better prepared.

Overall it was a pleasant evening and we will return.

Staff were brilliant food was not. Had to complain for the first time since it has changed name. Starters were great but has to send my main back. Poor quality, the wife's main had over cooked vegetables and as I had sent mine back already she decided just to eat what she could and we left. This is a good restaurant but has to be careful as its in danger of loosing credit ability

Came for my birthday yesterday and my husbands food came first and then myself and my dad had to wait for ours! And they went to take food to a different table and then 10 minutes later ours finally arrived. I hadn’t even finished my food and they started taking plates away which I find appalling as I have been a waitress in the past and you wait till everyone has finished. The food was ok.

Went when it first opened with a big party its was a disaster, tryed agian valentines day.

The food wasent hot enough ,We didnt see a menu till we arrived,neither or us keen on the little selection,

i tried the pork, it was all fat!! Not worth the £66 we spent at all, really disapointed!

We seemed to be sat where all the staff gathered to talk which was really off putting and didnt create the romantic ambiance we wanted. Also waitress was too invasive for a romantic meal.

Really wanted to go back and have you change our mind but it just didnt work.

On arrival we was seated in no other than what I can call a sauna. I know its warm outside, but I'd of thought they would have had air con. So after we asked to be seated outside, our drinks finally arrived after a good 15 minute wait. Service was very very slow. Food took over an hour to arrive. Garlic mushroom starter was like greacy slugs on dry bread. I was that hungry I couldn't be bothered to complain. Overall not a very pleasant experience. I gave two stars for the friendly staff.

Food took over 45 minutes to arrive. No olives in Greek salad. Dauphinouse potatoes didn't arrive until 5 mins after the rest of my main. They were cold in the middle so sent back. Received some more that were also cold in the middle. They had run out of house white so upgraded for £2.50 to savingnon blanc as part of the Monday deal. They returned to say they had also run out of that but we could have pinot....when the bill arrived they had charged us £4.95 extra for it. I have visited once before & it was good but today not up to scratch.

You’d think you can’t go wrong with Sunday roast, but they got it very wrong. Firstly no beef available, then what we did order was luke warm, rubbery, tasted like it had been stood out for 10 minutes and the most disappointing cauliflower cheese I’ve ever had in my life; tasteless, watery, rubbery and a pathetic small portion. Prawn cocktail was also tasteless. I think we’ve given this place enough chances now. Only gave 2 stars as our waitress was lovely. We will just go to Bicarri or 42 in future for Sunday lunch as they are both so much better, and cheaper!

Really really poor quality food on Saturday night also unnecessarily naggy waitress. Would not recommend or revisit better to waste money on 10 trips to McDonald's which is also crap but at least you expect that

First time there today and even though we called ahead we were told on arrival that the meat and fish delivery hadn't arrived! The service was slow and out of 3 people having 3 courses the only thing 2 likes was the sticky toffee pudding! The garlic Mushrooms starter was dry and boring, the poached eggs was awful on the fishcakes, the Chorizo was swimming on oil! The chicken Milanese was greasy, hearing the next table get a refund after ordered didn't help! My Morrocan Lamb was really average would not eat again £16:95 reheated rubbish! The Carbonara with no pancetta was bowl of Spaghetti omg! The blackberry and apple crumble had no crumble or blackberrys at all and the custard I asked for was clap cold! Even with the 25% off food discount it still cost £75 for 3!!! The service was nice enough but no drinks till we asked and the rest of the service was very slow we almost gave up on deserts! Will not eat there again in a hurry I was taking a friend next week so I am glad i tried it, we won't be going to Ego that is for sure too many other great places for that money!
