Ego Mediterranean Restaurant & Bar, Sheffield

The food is there is so good, I had to come back and try other dishes a day later.
Although I have to admit, it is pretty noisy due to the open space overhead. That's why only 4/5 stars. Besides that a great place to eat.

It is a very good place to eat. Very nice atmosphere in a central location. Delicious plates in reasonable prices. With the club card you save 25%. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Today my birthday weekend rang up to book for my birthday meal a week ago no available tables so we decided to turn up just to have a cocktail
They accommodated us for a table with an hour for drinks as early that was fine
But the 2 for 1 cocktails peach Bellini worst ever I have had there not fizzy and very weak no tasting of peach
Service was poor so we decided to pay on our way out as didn't want just to leave the cash on the table!
The waitress rudely thought we were not paying and addressed us as we left
Aren't you going to pay for your drinks?
How rude!!!
Completely ruined my birthday
I've been to this restaurant got many years and even recommended people to them this week!!
Really put me off going again after how they made me feel

Visited here a few times pre theatre. The last visit was very nice. Lovely helpful staff. Food was really tasty.

Honestly, one of the finest meals and best service I have ever had. The pork belly was to die for and my girlfriend's carbonara was also delicious. We had an amazing caramel
dessert cocktail, one of the most amazing drinks I've ever sat eyes on. And the service!! Our waitress Anna could not have been more kind and attentive. A 5 star experience and I could not recommend enough.

Been here 3 times and every time the food has been amazing. The crab risotto is to die for during the summer menu, definitely my favourite. Love it.
