I was so proud of 2 of my swimmers on Sunday, who came in the sea with me at fleetwood. There were 2 instructors and me with the 2 boys from kirkham and lots of youngsters and adults from 2 Manchester lifesaving clubs. One of my boys only learnt to swim with me at 10 yrs, and the other one wasn’t very confident. They’re just 12. They’re now kirkham lifesaving club boys 🤗🤗 ( all the treading water we practice for bronze, silver and gold challenge really paid off. And the distance awards we do for stamina 🤓)

Current spaces for adult/ child ( we don’t all do the same thing in a circle, classes are child led working on the discovery duckling syllabus) climbing, moving, floating, bubbles, when your child is ready. Another one of my older swimmers trained at kirkham lifesaving club last night, and loved it 🤗 That’s 6 of mine now. Any of my ex pupils ( bronze challenge or above ) wanting to give it a try , Friday 7.30 til 9.30 please phone peter. Guess what, we might be invited to the sandcastle to act as casualties for the lifeguard incident training ( and we get to go on the slides 🤓 and in summer, train in the sea at fleetwood. I’m so proud of my 5 youngsters that I taught to swim, who have followed me to kirkham lifesaving club. Aged 8 to 12 , in a few short weeks they would now be able to perform cpr on a baby, child or adult, plus their swimming and rescue skills are getting stronger 🤗🤗 And what a great cv they’re going to have !! Lifesaving is great fun, great exercise. Fridays 7.30 til 9.30.

if you don’t want to be holding your preschool child every time you go swimming, I have adult /child spaces tue 10.15 (2), thurs 9.45 (2), and Friday 10(2). £40 for 5 lessons. What a great day my swimmers , parents and supporters ( and me 😊) had at the lions swimarathon on Sunday. It’s a wonderful yearly event. The children showed great effort, they were strong, confident and had fun 🤗all these children have learnt by the armband method from being preschool age.
