Ekc Dover Description
The Student Centre, designed by students for students, is located on the ground floor of the Vision building. It is a vital part of the College and an area for students to relax and chill out in between lessons. Here you can study, or in your spare time just relax in the gaming lounge, or use the interactive TVs, PC suite, table tennis or pool table.
The Student Centre also acts as a base for the College's Progression Mentors and Enrichment Officer. It is a friendly and approachable space for students to come and relax or alternatively seek support from the team.
As a student of East Kent College, you are automatically enrolled in the Student Union. The Student Centre is where you can find out more about the Students Union and Student Voice. These two roles are an important part of College life; it's all about having fun socially, promoting what matters to you and having a say in your own education. We also hope you will take the opportunity to get involved in our many sporting and fitness activities.
The Student Centre is where you can come and sign up to many extra-curricular activities, trips and sports, or talk to staff about extra-curricular opportunities you would like to see on offer. The Enrichment Team and Student Union who staff the social areas have one aim – to make your time at College as enjoyable and memorable as possible!
