Wonderful campsite, with wonderful owners!

Had a mid week stay so site was very quiet. Lovely well maintained fields surrounded by horses, chickens, sheep etc. Both fell asleep and woke to the sound of roosters and wild birds which was lovely, no traffic noise etc. Facilities are very basic but adequate and clean, could possibly end up queuing for facilities if the site was booked to capacity, but mid week it was perfect. Owner incredibly friendly and helpful, full of useful tips on the best walks to take as I had a push chair for my daughter and didn't want to get stranded in anywhere muddy. Would recommend for anyone passing through wanting somewhere peaceful for a night, I don't think there is enough locally to justify staying more than a couple of days.

We spent a wonderful weekend here, very peaceful campsite.
Perfect for taking long walks with our dog a real treasure in the British country side. There are lots of interesting places nearby (Olney (Amazing Grace), Newport Pagnell (Aston Martin) and lots of country houses (Waddesdon Manor and Stowe).

I had a lovely stay at this campsite. Doris (owner) was very helpful and could not have been more accommodating.

Lovely little campsite surrounded by open countryside and an ancient woodland. Lots of beautiful walks nearby and several villages in easy walking distance.

I have also stayed here for a concert and must disagree with the other review. The owners were very helpful (we forgot our tent pegs) and polite. They also provided transport to and from the venue and were available to help on the phone when required. The price we paid was less than any of the other campsites and we had a great time.

Where to start? Me and my partner arrived to stay for 2 nights for the edc festival. Due to traveling for 3 hours and being late we arrived at 9:30pm and wanted to set up camp fast before it went dark. we were told that we would have to get the money in full before we could even set up. So we went to the nearest bank and had to set up in the dark! ..... The parking was terrible, requiring a young boy on a quad to take our bags from the car park to the pitch, which was basically just a field with some portaloos dumped in the middle. Facilities on this site are pathetic, there was no showers or anywhere to wash and the portaloos where disgusting. The money charged here for staying was 40 per person, I would avoid this place like the plague. The family are only interested in taking your money which is clear to see. There is surely a lot of money being made from this site which saddens me because you would think they would invest in a few bricks for some decent washing facilities and toilets. For your hard earned money, you might even get the pleasure of one of the family's children giving you the middle finger when you leave the site, just as we did ;) I wouldn't give this hole one star, wild camping would be a better option
