Went last night for my sons 21st Birthday food was awesome and service amazing! Only wish the tables were a bit bigger to put all the food on , and had to move crumbs off the seats before we sat down , apart from that a massive � only our second visit and we will be back x thank you guys

We were a bit dubious having looked at some reviews... but thought we'd give it a go. What a fab place! We had to wait a little while to be seated because the place was packed (a positive early sign). We were lucky that a group hadn't turned up for their reserved table & the waitress swiftly set it up for us.

We ordered starters of patatas bravas - the best I've ever tasted in a UK restaurant - and deep-fried cheese stuffed jalapeno peppers which were delicious!

Our main of the DIY taco for 2 was divine. My partner, who's been to Mexico several times, said it was on a par with the quality of food he'd had there... so very authentic.

And the tequila menu helped top off the night!

What a fabulous place. We will definitely be returning when we're next in Manchester! ��

Looking at the other poor reviews, I’m actually wondering if I went to the same place! Everything was fantastic. We were spoilt for choice on the menu as we love everything about Mexican food. Everything we did order was served hot and full of flavour. Can’t wait to go back!

Had lunch with my sister here and the tacos were the best! I had a combination of 5 tacos and all were delicious! My sister is vegetarian so went for the kale and mushroom enchiladas which was AMAZING! Very tasty! Fast, efficient service and friendly staff. Makes all the difference. Would highly recommend

Friendly staff/management in here, beautiful decor, good music playing too. Reminds me of a Central European bar in many ways, with an overarching 'Day of the Dead' theme to it! Will definitely be going in again - interesting cocktail menu too :-)

I had nachos with veggie choc chilli loved it. Decent size too. My friend had a burrito it was massive very filling she said. Will be going again. Friendly service to.

The service however was atrocious! Bar tender was the only one who gave us attention, when there was a waitress on the floor who didn’t seem to want to be there at all- unfriendly, quiet and unresponsive.

Pretty disappointed, my friends all agreed we wouldn't be coming back. Staff weren't very welcoming, the glasses brought to our table were really dirty with one having a chunk of something dried on the inside. Ordered the strawberry margarita jug and it just tasted of nothing but tequila. After much confusion we ordered the Sunday service though it wasn't made clear on the menue that this was for two people at £14pp. As part of the meal we ordered the dry rub chicken wings and the Chipotle chicken Wings, they brought us two lots of dry rub which tasted like they hadn't ben seasoned at all, just absolutely no flavour. The rest of the meal was okay with the prawns being the highlight, they tasted great. At the end of our meal came the bill to which we found an automatic service charge had been added as well as an extra charge for the chilli cheese fries we ordered as part of the meal despite not being warned of this when we ordered and there being no indication of an additional charge on the menue.

Went to eat here tonight, ordered a steak which I had to wait an hour for only to be told that this had been dropped in the kitchen on the way out. I was asked if I would like anything else from the menu and I politely declined. A meal then turned up that I did not want or ask for which only rubbed salt into the wounds as I insisted that I wanted nothing else. I was told I would not have to pay for this but I just walked out because it was not what I wanted to eat. It was a nice gesture I suppose but I was not going to entertain this after waiting so long. I was out with a few people and this essentially ended the night on a poor note.

We visited El Capo wanting to try the tacos and we ended up having to wait over an hour! We ended up taking the tacos to go in the end and they were very poor. Priority was given to an event they were catering instead of those customers in the restaurant. Not great at all.

Upstairs bar area is cool, but downstairs has no atmosphere, no music playing and staff weren’t particularly welcoming. Sat near the kitchen and could just hear the chef swearing about how much he hated his job. � Not really what you want to hear when you’re trying to enjoy a meal... The food was nothing special and pretty bland to be honest. No condiments on the table. Save your money and go to Luck Lust Liquor and Burn!

Service was extremely poor - slow, non friendly, had to go and ask them for the bill etc.



Food wise - awful! Nachos to share - chilli was cold & barely there.



Mains of burrito bowl & sweet potato wedges - all sent back as I couldn’t even eat it - no flavour, cold, absolutely crap. So I sat there and didn’t eat.



The waitress knock it off the bill which was good (I certainly wouldn’t have paid anyway as it did go straight back).



Overall a very disappointing night and will never be going again.

Rude waiter, refused to even ask the bartender to make a simple classic cocktail despite having the ingredients. Slow service and the 'shout me when your ready to order' approach isn't the best in a bar full of customers.

Really unimpressed after a meal here tonight. Everything about the meal was poor! Service was lacking, the food was tasteless and cold. The chicken wings were so disappointing, they had a funny taste and lacked any nice flavour at all. I wouldn't normally post publicly but the waiter didn't seem to care when we told him about how disappointed we were with the food. Definitely wouldn't go back after tonight.
