What an amazing find, recommended in guide books for London restaurants. Easy to get to, but tucked away in a lovely street. The service, food and atmosphere were all excellent. The chorizo in red wine is our favourite, but the set menus are a great choice. Super choice of wines. Food and wine prices very reasonable given the location in Mayfair. Having been upset about the Adele concert cancellation, which we were due to attend, this evening made up for everything and made our trip complete. We will most definitely return on our next visit. Thank you

This was our first visit and what a delightful find. Delicious food, attentive service and lovely ambience. Looking forward to our next visit.

The best tapas in London

User

Sat at bar without a wait on a very busy evening! Bar tends were very responsive and working hard. Food was amazing...had the grilled octopus, rice with chicken, and chicken and sausage kabobs and the Galician apple cake for desert which was the absolute highlight!

User

Met up with some friends here yesterday and had a wonderful meal. We had the set menu 1 and it was delicious, with plenty for us all. The wine was excellent, all 3 bottles of the Vina Sol. 😁 Would highly recommend El Pirata.

User

Just came back from an amazing dinner, everything was so good, service was amazing, staff was very friendly. Steak tapas was to die for and I ended the night with chocolate cake n it was heavenly

User

I dined here at the weekend with 2 friends. The waiter was hesitant to give us a table as it was ‘by the toilet’ however you would have never noticed it! The service was absolutely excellent and the tapas some of the best food I have ever had even though it was very busy. Excellent experience!

User

I can't recommend this place enough! Great food authentic Spanish, great ambiance!! Amazing service and wonderfully attentive staff. A definite if you are local to London or visiting. Make sure you book!

User

I booked the restaurant for Paul's birthday yesterday, and I am so happy that I did! What a lovely little restaurant, tucked away in a little street in Mayfair. The surroundings were gorgeous - full of Spanish artists such as Miro and Picasso - what a joy to eat surrounding these! The staff were super friendly and alert and the food was delicious and creatively presented! Rated 5*. We will be visiting again.

Had a lovely meal this evening after a day of Christmas shopping. I cannot fault anything! The food was absolutely delicious as was the wine and the staff were fantastic and friendly! The best tapas I have had in the south and north of England. Will definitely be coming for food every time I come to London.

User

Fantastic food and service. Taken here for a surprise birthday meal. Highly recommend a visit! The best tapas I've had in London thus far!! Chocolate cake desert was a bit of a let down, I would have been happier with a large bowl of the really creamy ice cream that came with it though.

User

Brilliant service and excellent food! Friendly waiter (Felipe) who looked after us and made us feel really welcome. His recommendations for tapas were spot on, and a good time was had by all. The location was brilliant as well. The complete package. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I cannot wait to go back again.

User

Best Tapas outside Spain. Thank you!

User

Beautiful food. Lovely attentive staff. Highly recommend a visit. (Best aioli and bread ever! And lovely prawns and chorizo)

User

User

A lovely atmosphere and great service to go with wonderful tapas! We had a brilliant night! Great cocktails too!

User

My first booking and it was warm with a good atmosphere. The Tapas were very tasty and authentic. Excellent waiter service, friendly staff with excellent surprising prices for London! 😉

User

It was our first visit taken by friends. It was friendly relaxed and I think great atmosphere as night went on. My partner had never eaten tapas before so he chose the set menu. My only thought was that they brought 3 dishes of hot meat out at the same time so I felt a bit rushed through those courses and would have enjoyed them more at a slower pace. However that said looking forward to going back and I believe it was good value for money especially in Mayfair

User

Enjoyed a meal here for my birthday and the food was lovely, very reasonably sized portions especially for tapas. Definitely recommend ordering the paella here. 100% recommend to anyone looking for authentic tapas food!
