Just bought my first e bike from here. Have always had a bike but then tried an electric version on holiday then bumped into someone who also had this same model, which looked really nice.

Decided to take the plunge and bought the Cube Reaction Hybrid HPA Pro with the 500Wh battery. Cycled it back from Bristol to Frome & was v impressed with having the battery option on board. Have always had a bike but switching to this makes a lot of sense for the types of journey I make.

Good review of this model on YouTube - look up Cube Reaction hybrid Pro HPA 29 video review

Online people sorted me out with the super cool all black( & a bit of grey) 2018 model & got it delivered to Bristol and then Chris from the shop in Lower Redland Road was v helpful in getting me going

5 star service & a 5 star bike :)

I feel like a kid again!! I grew up in flat open countryside with empty roads so cycling was great fun...and fast!! I moved to hilly, busy Bristol as a young adult and with no real need to ride a bike for transport reasons my old road bike spent much of it's life in the shed :-(
Then my husband invested in an electric conversion for his mountain bike (fitted by Chris) and after one go on his bike I just knew I had to have one. Chris was very helpful in helping me choose a bike and made sure that everything was perfect for me.
I've swapped flat open roads for hills, woods and fields but my first ride on my Cube Reaction eMTB was fast (despite not being very fit - yet!) and the most fun I've had in a long time. Thank you :-)

I have been a customer of the Electric Transport Shop Bristol since it opened in 2010 - I bought my first electric bike there that year. I am now in the process of upgrading to a newer model. Chris, the Manager, has always been efficient and helpful, and willing to share his knowledge and experience ensuring a great customer experience. There is a large range of quality bikes available and he will take time to help make the right choice to fulfil your individual needs. After care and servicing is also excellent. Very happy to thoroughly recommend Chris and the Electric Transport Shop to anyone thinking of investing in an electric bike.

Chris gave me all the time and information I needed to buy a bike in a completely unhurried and non-pressured way, showing me the advantages and pitfalls of the various types on offer. In the end spend-ing that bit extra for a quality product has paid enormous dividends and owning an electric bike has revolutionised the concept of a 70 year old to cycling in Bristol! And the after sales service is great too!

First class service and customer care.

I first went to the Cambridge shop and met Eddie. No hard sell, just sound professional advice. And so, so helpful.

As we live in GOC, we picked up the bike from Brizzle. Chris was similarly attentive and also gave us a great deal.

This is how you run a business. Long live the independents. Support them.

I have been researching electric bikes for some time. I initially tried one from work, but the range was 30 miles which meant having a charger at each end of the journey. I needed a longer range and the opportunity to try it for a day or so. It is a large investment and the "round the block" or "up to half an hour" rides are not enough to see how it works and if it is right for you.
Electric Bike Sales were different right from the start. A quick phone call confirmed that I could hire the bike for two days to really try it out and also they had a large range of bikes.
Chris, the manager, really knows his stuff. No hard sell, just find out what you are looking for, in my case the maximum range, comfortable to ride, and a few suggest models to try. I collected a bike and almost immediately cycled up two hills locally that I hadn't managed for 30 years. The following day I cycled to Bath & back, about 30 miles. Still a lot of power left in the battery when we got home. The next day I tried a route of the same distance, but with lots of hills. Again lots of power left in the battery.
Chris suggested I try another similar bike to compare. Also very good but derailleur gears rather than hub as on the first bike.
I have now purchased the bike and just completed a 45 mile ride, a mixture of gentle hills and a few steeper ones. The bike computer was advising that another 30 was possible.
I am very pleased with my purchase and found the shop an excellent one to deal with. Chris is very patient and knows his stock well. He gives information and advice then lets you try his suggested bikes and decide.
I would thoroughly recommend them.
