Electric Bike Sales York

my wife and I were looking into buying 2 e-bikes to take with us in our motorhome and reading all the various web sites we were totally confused! We decided to visit an e-bike specialist shop last Thursday in York and met the ace mechanic Jamie who has a vast knowledge of these amazing bikes. We were allowed test rides on 3 bikes for a couple of hours. We bought 2 bikes and collected them last Friday. We are now looking forward this summer to our touring in Germany and keeping up with those old age pensioners on their e-bikes who previously left us behind on our pushbikes! I bought my Gazelle electric bicycle from the guys here in York and I love it. I have visited the shop on two occasions, the last time for the free service. I most often dealt with the mechanic who despite being a very busy guy is a great mine of information and has helped me several times with precise and clear information. The bike is now in Spain and next year I expect to obtain another for use in Yorkshire. I shall not hesitate to purchase it from Electric Bike Sales, York. Thanks geezers.

Brilliant - I ordered on-line and the York team followed up my order as if it were there own. When I went to collect the bike, they were super-helpful (I know nothing about bikes and they didn't mind - it's so easy to be intimidated by super-cool bike sellers!) The bike was set up for me and they made sure it fitted me before I left the shop. Really fabulous service, thank you. I will be using them in future.

Having looked for an Ebike for a while now, I popped into Electric Bike Sales. My requirements were carefully listened to, a machine suggested and offered for a test ride. It turned out to be perfect and matches my requirements exactly. The price was good as well!
In short, this is a shop which listens to customers needs and matches them with sensible suggestions which work. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I had ordered my bike online and had to come a long way to pick it up. But it was so worth it. Firstly the team kept be informed, then the bike was set up well and was waiting for me when I arrived, no delays. And while collecting my car Jamie fitted some extras I had just bought. Brilliant, friendly, cheerful and competent service. And a fantastic bike to boot! I am very happy indeed.

Went to York to see and try Bosch powered electric bikes.John was really helpful and so knowledgeable.Tried a number of different bikes and with help and advice (no pushy selling) guided us toward selecting not only the correct bike for us but also a bike we wanted.
When we collected the bike we did a further test ride so John could "fine tune" the adjustments to seat height/angle,handlebar reach and angle,and the brake lever position.He then walked/talked us through all the controls again and provided care advice so as to get the optimum performance and life from the battery.

An electric conversion to my tandem has given it a whole new lease of life. I ride all kinds of bikes - folders, mtb, road, 3 speed, but I live by the North York moors and found that the tandem was such hard work up hills that I tended only to use it for short trips. John at the Electric Transport shop provided a set up that means we can extend our range on the tandem without getting worn out - we often use it now instead of the car. As a keen cyclist it has become an additional and fun cycling option for me, rather than a replacement for en existing bike. I can thoroughly recommend the advice and knowledge at the shop, well worth a call or a visit if you are in the area.
