Electric Motion Uk Description
In the off road motorcycle industry, some manufacturers have become aware of environmental issues including noise and emissions becoming less and less acceptable in natural settings, countryside, forests, etc. as a result, some of them have focused their minds towards the design of an electric motorcycle.
Electric Motion was created to work in this direction. Founded in the South of France during 2009 by Philippe Aresten, the old boss of Scorpa, along with former Scorpa mechanic, Didier Richaud.
After several years concentrated development, Electric Motion has launched the concept of the EM 5. 7, an ‘all electric’ trials bike created for leisure. The design of a fully electric trial bike is an accomplishment that has required a great number of adaptations in terms of weight, volume, power and autonomy in the particularly small environment of a trials bike engine location. The bikes performance is matched with its intended use and the EM 5. 7 is a technological marvel, combining performance and respect for the environment perfectly and so becoming the first full-sized electric trial bike in mass-production.
