Come to our ‘Beside the Sea’ Brush Party at the Elephant and Castle in Hurst on Monday 3rd June 2019 and experience a great night out that you’ll be talking about for weeks! It’s all about fun! Get yourself a drink from the bar, settle down to your canvas and unleash your inner Van Gogh!
It doesn’t matter if you haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school, our artist will walk you through creating your masterpiece. You’ll be delighted as your blank canvas transforms in just a... few hours, made all the better by good company, music, and a glass of wine or two!
The event starts at 7.00pm but please arrive at least 15 minutes early to get your seat and any drinks you may want etc. THe evenings usually last about 3 hours but times may vary.

Cask Marque visit - Another strong performance !
On the Friday 15th March, Simon Ridgeon from Cask Marque visited and sampled the cask ales on sale in the pub. Each one has been tested for temperature, appearance, aroma and taste.
We had an excellent visit which included a cellar audit, all our cask beers were scored at very high quality and consistency.

This pub is now under new management. It has been very tastefully refurbished and the atmosphere is great.we had lunch yesterday lunchtime and it was very good and reasonably priced. The staff were very efficient and pleasant. We will definitely be back !
