Soon to be demolished shopping centre with a quirky soul. There is a bar, great bowling with lots of other games at the top floor.

Interesting multi-cultural melting pot in centre of London
Many different types of ethnic food at reasonable prices, from Colombian to African to East Asian
The building requires some upkeep though

Cheap stuff. Somewhat underground atmosphere, genuine place (not the usual polished arcades). Cool. Location is a bit unhappy because it's pretty much in the middle of a massive roundabout, and there is no parking. But the slightly messy aspect of it all is part of the fun.

Horrid - very run down. I couldn't walk fast enough to the overground platform to get out. Whoever owns this shopping centre should be ashamed of themselves. The local community deserves something a lot nicer. The ethnic shops/restaurants are good but decor is oh-so tired. Toilets are also V dirty and you have to pay to get through the turnstiles!

great place for local students (my son has just started university near by and lives within a 5 min walk)... local and easy access for students, great selection of shops geared up for all walks of life.

Though an obscure location its surrounded by a lot of affordable good vendors and there's a box park located right around the corner. New venues and apartment blocks seem to keep popping up implying the area is upscaling it's look and feel.

Westfield it isn't. But has decent range of shops for immediate necessities. Good South American butchers round the corner. Staff generally helpful and not up their own...

Haven't been in this area for over a decade. Surprised to see the the old shopping centre still standing in amongst its new shiny redeveloped bland neighbours. No doubt that it needs some love, but it reminded me of the faithful, smelly old dog that's always been in the family. You wouldn't want to rush there for a day of expensive shopping and pampering but it's a right trip down memory lane....

Unapologetically ugly, this grimy and decrepit 1960's (dare I say; iconic) landmark a sorry reminder that nothing recedes faster than 'progress.'
An attritional environment lost in time and space yet remaining forthright and authentic catering to the local community. No nonsense, see you later vibe. That's reason enough for a visit but if you if you're an aficionado of the momentously ugly, then have a peep at "The Strata" building just up the road. A new 'white elephant' companion to the familiar 'pink elephant.'
Now that's gentrification for you.
