Don't think we ever had so much rain in such little time over the last few weeks, luckily its not affected the fishing too much with some anglers returning double figure bags.
Good to see plenty of children out despite the weather though and all doing well catching some nice fish.
Fish have really started to hit into the fry as Stu Smitham found out returning plenty of fish on his home tied leech, flies like cats whiskers and snakes now taking the majority of fish although c...ormarants still taking plenty.
If you're local river is out of sorts this week come and give us a try

Not the easiest weekend with the weather playing a big part on the catch returns, Saturday we saw biblical rain with almost 70 mm falling in 24 hours then Sunday saw the first decent frost of the season.
Couple of anglers returning 12 but most between 3 and 6.
At least our Tigers on the indoor farm are not affected by the weather and growing well, we should be stocking some of these later next month hopefully.
... Once the water recedes later in the week more very big blues going in and a good stocking of kilo fish too.
