Great place to visit. Lovely gardens. Free car park. Ideal for a picnic before going in.
Great tour (audio visual guide), well worth the visit
Amazing palace with very unique interiors
The gardens are the highlight - lovely and peaceful
Amazing art deco blends with mediaeval grandeur. See how the other half lived!
Lovely house and beautiful gardens
Prams not allowed in the palace - bring a sling to wear your kid
£15 each entry fee is a rip off. Kenwood house in Hampstead is just as nice and is free
Amazing Art Deco.
Entrance fee £10
Gorgeous 1930's Art Deco home bolted on to the remains of a Plantagenet / Tudor palace with stunning garden (and big fish in a moat kinda thingy)
Amazing Art Deco interiors and lovely peaceful gardens - great for our picnic-but there was nothing in the rose garden. A very minor complaint after a wonderful visit. Look out for the lemur ladder!
19 August: Admire the grand panelled Swedish Entrance Hall, with concrete and glass dome and the bedroom of the Courtaulds' pet ring-tailed lemur, Mah-Jongg. Art Deco features contrast with Tudor.
This stunning art deco house was built in 1936. The 19-acre garden really comes into its own during summer, when the long border transforms into a riot of herbaceous perennials.
Florence + The Machine filmed the video to Shake It Out here
London's best stately home. You get a mix of Medieval, Tudor and Art Deco. And look out for the giant fish in the moat.
Built by Eltham John in 1876
Closed on saturdays!
This glamorous Art Deco London showpiece as built in 1936, next to the remains of a medieval royal palace, and surrounded by 19 acres of garden. A striking visit!
