amazing club! Great people, great vibe. Definitely a good place to go to! Also the long island cocktails are incredible!

Wicked place! Absolutely love the promoter Yazim as she was amizing and a great host!

The gentleman running the toilet arrangements was very proffessional and extremely well dressed.

The best place to listen latin music and hip hop , the cocktails very nice . Very original !

The atmosphere was great, the man in the toilet was very respectful and very friendly.

Staff lovley and officiant. Fab atmosphere! Definitely worth a visit. Will be returning. �

Best night out I've had in a long time!! I had put 8 people on the guest list which the door staff were unaware of but as soon as I produced my email confirmation they let us in no problem - no problem with the staff here whatsoever!! Would go back time and time again! If you want a dance and a good time people head here!

Amazing venue. Went in on Wednesday, great atmosphere and very friendly service.

I look forward to coming back, will be coming back with a good guest list next time round. See you soon

Aiye curumba - If your looking for a little cubin flavour this is the place. great drink cozy decor. Must see. BRING UR ID or no entry lol

I really liked it except at the end when the bouncers were horribly rude and on a power mission. They were awful to me as were the coat ladies.

I wasn't meant to end up here but my Uber driver recommended it as it was close.

My main point to this is the absolute perverted men that was in the club, grabbing girls, including myself after telling them plenty of times to leave me and my friend alone. They actually bit my friend on the face and wouldn't leave her alone. After having enough, I went to go talk to the bouncer to ask them to get the men away from me (as they are security aren't they? �) when to my shock, a bloke from the group actually stopped and stood in front of the bouncer who let him do this. The men proceeded to perv on us no matter how much we walked away

I wouldn't be surprised if the bouncers would let a sex trafficking group work their club as it was the weirdest and most unsafe club I have ever been in. At the end of the night, one bouncer (who was actually nice enough to help us get a taxi, only half decent one) admitted if he doesn't let the c*nts in, there's not much business. Think the owner needs to reevaluate his club before something serious happens. I can deal with the girls and guys off their face on drugs as that's standard.

One positive, you walk to the terrace and it's like a whole different world, a tad more down to earth people... a tad.

Don't want to be a Debbie downer, I still had a good night but coming from out of town, it was just very odd

Too often people don't think about their actions nor what they say. This weekend, @EmbargoRepublica let ~12 of us into their venue but stopped one person in our group because they made an assumption about her based on one look. Their approach and attitude was disgusting to reduce someone down to tears on image, alienating her from the venue and separating her from her friends. Rightfully so all of us left as no one wanted to be spending a penny or be part of an establishment that does not know how to treat not just customers, but humans.



Never should anyone be outrightly made to feel like they don't belong. This sort of unacceptable behaviour needs to be brought to light - my friend, like the staff at Embargo are human. The staff / venue are not there to dish out judgement in any way it sees fit! You may have discretion with who let in but any savvy person knows how to manage and deliver such discretion... in today's world around fairness, tolerance and equality Emabargo should know better...! The discrimination you demonstrated still enrages me! Your staff represent your venue so the entire venue is responsible for this!



Avoid this place at all cost as this weekend is testament to the type of venue it is - awful! Please feel free to share this post as we need to take a stand against this type of behaviour. Bars and clubs are just venues - we had no shortage of places to go and spend our money - but when we choose a place we don't expect anyone to be insulted and be discriminated! Get your act together Embargo!!!

Toilet attendant blocked the exit to the bathroom and threatened that if I didn't give him money he'd call security... not exactly a friendly atmosphere

Just had a horrific experience with Embargos when calling up to discuss my birthday. Rude, inconsiderate and hung up on me when all I asked was about guest list. You may have just lost 40 people worth of business. Management needs to sort out the staff answering their phones.
