Fantastic afternoon celebrating Ethiopian cuisine and culture with Chef Yohanis during his UK book tour.
Welcoming guests, Ambassador Fesseha applauded #ChefYohanis for beautifully showcasing #Ethiopia’s unique food in his debut book and encouraged guests to bring a taste of Ethiopia to their homes by trying the recipes.
Chef Yohanis then read an excerpt from the book, and invited guests to sample some of the food he prepared earlier.

Our Business Diplomacy Department stopped by The Meetings Show yesterday, where Flawless Events Ethiopia and UN Conference Centre Addis Ababa were promoting #Ethiopia as a meetings and events destination. Discussions focussed on #ConferenceTourism and how the Embassy can support these efforts and make Addis Ababa the premier destination for the MICE sector (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions).

Earlier, H.E Ambassador Fesseha met with Mr Peter Brown, the Director of the British Council in #Ethiopia. They discussed the Council's activities in the country including their work on #education, #English language training, the #arts and #society.
The Ambassador thanked the Council for its 77 years of service in #Ethiopia while welcoming news that #AddisAbeba will be hosting the Social Enterprise World Forum 2019 - the main global forum for learning, ideas, the sharing of best practices and creation of partnerships in the social enterprise sector.
On his part, the Director reiterated Ethiopia's place as a priority country for the Council in #Africa, confirming the partnership it enjoys with the Ethiopian government.

❝In pursuing the 40 trees per person planted in #Ethiopia, our country will once again lead on #ClimateChange change, for the sake of the 7.7 billion people who call our planet home. One seedling at a time, 4 billion trees will rise.❞
