Embrace Yorkshire & Humber Infant & Children’S Transport Service.

Embrace provides a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, critical care transport service for critically ill neonatal and paediatric patients in the Yorkshire and Humber region. They are located near junction 37 of the M1 from where they can respond quickly to referrals from clinicians throughout the region.

Embrace will provide clinical advice using their conference call facility to liaise with sub-specialists when required, and when necessary will mobilise an intensive care team skilled in the transport of critically ill children and infants.

Locating an appropriate bed is carried out by their call handling staff who have up to date details of bed availability throughout the region. If there is no availability within their region they will coordinate with intensive care units outside the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Embrace try their absolute best to give Infants and Children the best possible chance of survival. They don't seem to get noticed a great deal so this page is to have your input about how excellent and caring they are.
