This looks like it's going to be pretty cool - a sports clothing brand from the Parkrun people, aiming to source ethically and never fat shame. Looking forward to the range going live https://contra-movement.com/

I've been blogging again. Why is it Enid Blyton's fault?

I'm feeling a little bit proud - I've battled technology and got 2 freebies on my website. If you'd like to download them, have a look here http://embracingfitness.co.uk/

*** only 36 hours to go *** Doors will close on the testing intake for First Steps to Fitness tomorrow night. Get your chance to join this course for just £100, in return for providing feedback so I can make it even better, rather than the full price of £697. This is the only time I'll be opening the doors for such a low price, so if you've been wondering about it, it's time to jump on board.
What will I get? - 9 modules designed to support you to get more active and healthy... - an exercise video with each module, that only takes 10 minutes to complete - full support in the dedicated facebook group - an insight into what has stopped you moving more in the past - more energy - more confidence
What do I need? - some comfy clothes - a mat, rug or carpeted area - a printer - a pen
Where do I sign up? Right here: http://embracingfitness.co.uk/first-steps -to-fitness/

I'm still looking for a few people to test my First Steps to Fitness course.
If you are (or know someone who is):... - inactive but wanting to start moving more - struggling with a long held belief that getting fitter is for "sporty people" - not prepared to go to the gym - looking for a way to get more active that fits in with life - wanting to laugh while moving more - ready to make changes - sick of feeling sluggish - fed up with everyday tasks feeling like a challenge
Then this 12 week course is for you (or your friend). For this intake only the cost is just £100 (or 3 x £35), which is a HUGE saving on the standard course price. In return for this huge reduction, all I ask is that you give me regular feedback on how you're finding the course. http://embracingfitness.co.uk/first-steps -to-fitness/

I can contain my excitement no longer... the course is good to go. At this point I can only take 10 people. Just ten. To guarantee your place and be among the first people to access this course that will look into why you are less active than you'd like, and help you address this, just read on.
I can't wait to welcome the 10 lucky people into the inaugural First Steps to Fitness.

Bit of blogging again. When we create a habit around moving more, it becomes part of life

Happy Thursday everyone! What's an activity you used to do as a child that if you tried it now you'd realise how unintentionally fit you were when you were younger? For me it's trampolining - loved it at school, tried it the other day and goodness me it was nowhere near as easy as I remembered!

New blog post. It's OK not to know where to start getting more active. The key is to start. http://embracingfitness.co.uk/2018/07/11/ where-to-start/

Setting new exercise targets this evening with my partner. Accountability starts at home :-)

Don't know about you but I'm loving this hot spell. I spent a happy couple of hours yesterday in the dappled shade at the bottom of the garden (whoever named our house The Willows was spot on!) recording exercise videos for my online programme. What is anyone else up to?

Out for a walk and it occurred to me this hot weather brings out so much sensory stuff - the brightness of the sun is obvious, but the feel of the heat, the noise of the crickets and birds, the smell of cut grass. What have your senses been overwhelmed by?

User

Size shouldn't define us. If we're fit and strong we're doing pretty well :-)

I've just seen a really interesting post about how the writer feels the fitness industry doesn't speak to him and millions of others. What are the things you see in adverts and fitness marketing that immediately make you think "nope, not for me"?

User

One size fits all? Nope! Emily is knowledgable and flexible enough to get it right for all, whatever your intentions and goals. No square pegs and round holes here. Thanks Emily

My daughter shared Emily's Get Active Challenge on her FaceBook page and I decided to give it a go as I had been struggling with low energy levels this year. Wow! I'm so glad that I did! I was somewhat apprehensive as Day 1 approached, as I'd never been particularly sporty, and I was worried that, at 70, I'd feel really out of it. Emily made us all feel really welcome and comfortable right from the beginning, and she was always extremely supportive, always tailoring her challenges to suit our individual fitness levels and health issues. Emily encouraged soul searching and reflection at the same time as helping us to have fun. I always looked forward to her daily emails, FaceBook posts and live videos, and it was great to share with the rest of the group too. I am now much more motivated, have lots of ideas for exercising on rainy days, and have learned that exercise can be great fun and doesn't need to take up a lot of time. A real life changer, and I would recommend Embracing Fitness to anybody, no matter what their fitness level is or what health challenges they face. Thank you Emily!

I signed up for a fitness challenge with Emily, and had a great week, she's all about changing your perspectives on exercise. She encouraged me to see all the ways exercise can be fitted into everyday life, taking manageable steps towards being more active, without having the huge outlay and anxieties of gym sessions or group sport! I thoroughly recommend her services!

I have been attending the Embracing Fitness sessions in Bungay for a few months now and can honestly say that I have really felt a positive change in my fitness level and general health. Emily's classes are fun. The exercises vary from week to week and are suitable for everyone as they can be tailored to personal needs. If you wish to improve your fitness come and join us.

Emily is lovely to work with. When she launched Jumpstart I leapt on board because I wanted a low pressure boost to help keep me motivated with getting more active. I’m busy and also love to be lazy when it comes to fitness so I was able to fit this in without feeling overwhelmed. Emily has a wonderful knack of being very supportive, understanding, encouraging and motivating, helping you WANT to do more - the magic ingredient to success. If you want to feel better jump on the Jumpstart with Emily - you won’t regret it.
