Who are Emerald Equine and what do we do?We are equine agents specialising in importing Irish horses of the highest quality to produce and sell here in the UK. From competition to the leisure horse, from professional to the novice rider.

With over twenty five years experience producing and selling Irish horses we have a broad variety of expertise in International eventing, show jumping and showing.

We have superb on-site trial facilities with an enclosed sand arena, plenty of show jumps including fillers, a x /c course with ditches, banks and steps etc. With excellent hacking and plenty of roads allowing clients a chance to assess a horses behaviour a traffic. We are the last farm before an M. O. D military range and therefore our horses regularly meets tanks on the roads and are used to heavy artillery fire.

We welcome instructors and always advise clients to have a horse vetted prior to purchase. We keep in touch with our clients providing support and advise aftercare.

DESCRIPTIONS OF OUR HORSES ARE BASED ON PROPER ASSESSMENT BY OUR TRAINED STAFF, WHO LIVE AND WORK WITH THEM ON A DAILY BASIS AND REPRESENT THEIR OPINION OF THEIR BEHAVIOR.

VETTINGS

ALL CLIENTS ARE RECOMMENDED TO HAVE A HORSE VETTED PRIOR TO PURCHASE, ALL ANIMALS ARE OPEN TO 5 STAGE VETTINGS AND DOPE TESTING.

TRYING HORSES

WE ENCOURAGE ALL PROSPECTIVE PURCHASERS TO TRY A HORSE THAT THEY ARE INTERESTED IN , (WITHOUT OBLIGATION) AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE BEFORE PURCHASE.

RESERVE / DEPOSIT

IF YOU LIKE A HORSE AND WISH TO RESERVE IT, A £200 CASH DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED. THIS IS REFUNDABLE IF THE HORSE FAILS THE VETERINARY INSPECTION. A DEPOSIT IS VALID FOR ONE WEEK ONLY.

RETURNS / CONTRACTS

EVERY HORSE IS SOLD UNDER CONTRACT, WHICH DOES GIVE A SEVEN DAY RETURN PERIOD. (COPIES OF WHICH ARE AVAILABLE PRE PURCHASE ON REQUEST) AFTER THIS PERIOD, WE HAVE NO LEGAL OBLIGATION TO TAKE IT BACK. HOWEVER, IT IS NOT IN OUR INTEREST TO HAVE AN UNHAPPY CLIENT, WE THEREFORE WILL ALWAYS TRY AND EXCHANGE AN UNSUITABLE HORSE FOR A SUITABLE ONE OF EQUIVALENT VALUE. NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN.
