In these first sessions, I will be talking about the Ancient Egyptian 13-Chakra System and the Mer-Ka-Ba, which the Ancient Egyptians believed was something we all have around and inside us.
Many, including me, feel this has been dormant for many lifetimes and that ‘now’ as we continue our shift into what is being termed ‘New Earth’ around the world,it is time to activate our personal Mer-Ka-Ba.
I studied this a few years ago and activated firstly my eight-pointed Mer-Ka-Ba a...nd then my 13-pointed one, through meditation.
I shall be talking about this and holding a special ‘Mer-Ka-Ba’’ activation meditation as part of the ‘Awakening your Power’ Talk on both 20th September and 5th November.

Obi, who is a Qigong Expert based now in Southern Sweden most of the time, where he holds regular classes and workshops for both adults and children, will hold a special fun “Qigong 5-Animal ‘Play’ & The Six Healing Sounds Workshop” for half of the attendees
Emily, who has a degree in Music and has taught both children and adults music as well as working with private clients for Sound Healing Sessions, will hold a light-hearted Music-based Workshop, using the voice; piano; singing bowls and special meridian and weighted tuning forks with the other half.

We will swap so each half gets time with both Obi and Emily

We’ll finish with Tea; Soft Drinks and Emily’s Homemade Healthy Cakes!

Healing Energetics in Bite-Sized Chunks - A Day in the life of.........

As mentioned in my Newsletter of 25th August, my inspiration for both September’s Talk & Half-Day Workshop’s exploration of Sound Healing was the reaction of my young nephews to the sets of Tuning Forks I use with clients during treatments. Their fascination and intuitive interactions with the forks they were drawn to amazed me and so I suggested to Obi that we concentrate on this area pf our work.
During our Saturday Afternoon Talk our aim is for all all attendees to not onl...y learn more about the history and origins of Sound Healing but also participate in a group ‘experiment’ where Emily will work collectively with specific Tuning Forks to bring everyone’s energy centres (chakras) into balance. She previously achieved this with a group of 24 business people at a networking event in only 20 minutes! The aim is for you to release any stress and discomfort - physically; mentally and emotionally from your whole body to bring yourself back into a state of peace and harmony.
Obi will then continue on by leading a guided meditation using his exceptionally powerful Tibetan Singing Bowl, (semitone) vocal chanting and visualisation as he takes you on a special meditative journey.
As ever, we will end with special teas and some of Emily’s Yummy AND Healthy cakes! Hence the extra half an hour at the end of the afternoon!
