When flying, for every time zone you cross, your body takes one day to re-align itself with local time! Adjusting to the new British Summer Time is not as complicated, but to accommodate these longer brighter days, from 1st April we will be open until 7pm every day, until October. Winter is officially here. We even had snow in London yesterday! If you are feeling a bit cold however, think about the coldest airport in world. Yakutsk Airport in Russia’s Siberian Tundra, holds the record, with temperatures this time of year reaching -40˚C!

User

Well worth a visit on the sims. Staff very helpful and friendly.

User

We chances upon this while browsing about the Greenwich area. Spell bound by the experience.

User

Very much enjoyed the A380 experience with former transport colleague Roy Turner a few days ago, under the watchful eye and well-honed guidance of Tony.

He helpfully ensured we had two very successful flights and was kind enough to even take photos for us also.

I was surprised how, with much concentration on our 'flight', we both felt sensations of movement, even though the simulator is in a fixed enclosure, aided by visuals being better than expected.

In a short 30min session, key guidance is of the essence of a good experience; Tony gave us exactly that.

Staff on-site generally were also very pleasant to visitors.

User

Took my two boys they loved the experience and the instructor was so helpful and guided them throughout. Definitely worth going

User

The views from the top over the Thames are awesome.... amazing....

Brilliant .... spent quality time on cable car

User

Thanks to Tony for his superb instruction yesterday when my two young sons did the Boeing 777 simulator experience yesterday. He was calm and extremely knowledgeable and was able to apply his knowledge to younger children. All of the staff including the cafe staff were friendly and cheerful x

User

Nice experience for the whole family

User

My son had the best time ever on the simulators! He now wants to become a pilot 😃

User

My partner and I came to the EAE today and absolutely loved every minute. The lady looking after us (I WISH I'd asked her name) was superb - extremely knowledgable and friendly. There was a small computer glitch towards the end of the simulator experience on the A380, so while they were fixing that, we got to go on the B777, and got a bonus 25 minutes as it was quite quiet at the time.

We were absolutely delighted with our experience, and want to send our biggest thanks to the lady who REALLY was excellent.

User

My friend and John Lidstone andI had a most memorable experience on the Airbus A380 simulator with a very friendly instructor, who made the whole experience very enjoyable. He talked us through everything and made my friends day by installing him as co-pilot. A highly recommended experience

User

My family had a wonderful time there. They really enjoyed all the interactive bits and being able to sit in a cockpit.

Very clean place with helpful staff. We hope to revisit soon

User

Loved it ..so high ..so scared of heights.....but it felt safe, ..which made the journey easy. The staff were lovely .

User

Just come back from our second trip with my eleven year old plane mad Son! It’s a great experience with the staff having good knowledge about the simulators. Would definitely recommend.

User

It was fantastic I loved the Aviation Experience Emirates I really enjoyed it. I hope to come back again.

User

It was an excellent experience. We were well looked after by the people there and you really did feel you were flying the plane

User

I took my son for his 12th Birthday with his sister yesterday, it's his dream to be a Pilot !!! he said he had the best time of his life !!!!

The staff A+ so kind, helpful and welcoming we all had a great time ... Thank you

User

I thought the experience was great, good value for money. Our boys had a great instructor (Tony I think!). We booked the Ultimate 1hr and the boys flew around the world in 60 minutes in hail, rain or shine !!!

User

I received this Aviation Experience as a Christmas present and thoroughly enjoyed it. The location was easy to find and all the staff were welcoming. The instructor was helpful and knowledgable. He had a flexible approach to permit anyone to have an enjoyable experience, regardless of whether they had ever piloted an aircraft before. I "flew" the Airbus A380 as the pilot and my wife was the co-pilot. I was given a choice of how and where to start and elected to perform a take-off from London Heathrow. The A380 uses a side stick instead of a more conventional control column. Once I had started to get the hang of using the side stick, the instructor guided me with verbal advice to fly to Gatwick (my choice) and I paused the simulation a number of times for more advice. It was fun to fly over areas of Kent, Surrey and Sussex and identify landmarks that I am familiar with. At Gatwick, I landed on the correct spot of runway 26L but failed to use the brakes properly and ran onto the grass. Following more friendly advice, I attempted a landing at Heathrow. This was much better. After the "flight" we had a long chat with the instructor who was friendly and more than willing to give further information and advice, even though by then the session had officially ended.

The coffee shop/cafe was good and the gift shop area was small but well-stocked. There was also a good display at the entrance of technology, including a jet engine. After the Experience we had lunch and then took the Cable Car to the other side of the river.

Overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience which I would definitely recommend. I hope to go again at some time in the future.

User

Highly recommended, your staff were very helpful as was a last minute decision to pop in. The sims were great and good value. Thanks for capturing the video on my phone as a fantastic reminder of a memorable experience

User

Had a great time at the Emirates Aviation Experience. All the staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful.. Lots of information covering all aspects of aviation and flight . The simulators are fantastic. It was great fun taking off and landing from airports around the world. Would recommend to anybody... Thanks to Clare, Francesca, Tony and all.. Oh and the café is really good too...

User

Great place, and lovely experience!! My sim instructor was very good, and very easy place to get to!

User

Great exhibition, great setting and a really good instructor.

User

Fantastic day out for my disabled children. Lots of excellent and well though of areas to discover. Perfect place to introduce flying to a child with autism before actually journey.

User

An amazing adventure for adults and children alike, this years theme is Thunderbirds. Staff very helpful indeed. Fabulous views over London.

User

Amazing views of the 02 and docklands, I'm not the best with hights but loved this. It's a great way to get about

User

A real enjoyable experience for the family. We had a nice welcome on arrival, we could freely walk around the exhibition. The experience is interactive making it more interesting.

The flight stimulator is aimed for 9+. My sons liked getting to grips with the A360 Airbus, there is lots to pay attention too, our very experienced guide made our lesson fun. Aviation is truly mind blowing. Great days out in London.

User

With the experience it was good but don't pay for the museum because it's a waste of time and sod all to do

User

We spent a very enjoyable hour taking off and landing. It's fiendishly complicated, but overall a great insight into the working life of a pilot.

User

Very entertaining! Fun father&son activity

User

I enjoyed the whole experience. However the simulator is only the screen with few options and not the moving and fully equipped one. The ground floor presentation was fantastic though.

User

Great day but wish the simulator experience was closed off more and made it more private and personal as have kids making lot of noise. Also wish more was interactive and not so automated, other than that we had a great day.

User

Good day out although I think they need a door at the top of the stairs by the simulators to stop kids running under the bar and causing chaos. One of the machines were broken when we came and it was 25 min back up delay but someone took us to the coffee shop to get us a complimentary drink which was nice. 30 mins Isn't enough time to get a full flight in as once you know what your doing the time is up. Was a good experience but not sure it's worth the full value for a small amount of time.

User

Fantastic fun for an hour, if I can be a pit picky its that you couldn't use flaps or that the booth didn't move but for the price it was good value for money.

User

I enjoyed trying to operate it, but I didn't have much instruction as he was Looking after 3 others. Was practically doing it blind. The graphics was poor and too expensive for what it is.

User

Good but not great. It only takes 5 minutes to look around, it is really small. We spent the rest of the time sitting in the airline seating waiting for the simulator (which was fantastic). If we go again then it will only be for the simulator.

User

Booked a simulator experience for a birthday present . As you take 10 minutes for the instructions and getting used to the controls if there's more than 1 of you flying you need more than the 1/2 an hour . Very expensive for what you get. Also the whole thing needs updating as nothing had changed since the last time we visited.

User

Paid for ticket at top of North Greenwich tube clearly told lady our intention to do round trip, exhibition and simulator.. Exhibition not worth the entry without simulator which apparently needs pre booking and is full today. Your staff need to communicate with customers to ensure that it's not a waisted journey

User

Bought this A380 experience as Xmas present for hubby. Bit misleading as 'simulator' I expected it to actually move ?! There is a cockpit set up and virtual screen with controls. There are 4 other set ups like this on this section- 4 separate cockpits for people doing the experience. The instructor was informative and helpful great guy, but it's really off putting having your experience shared by hoards of public on lookers shuffling by or standing by the rope that is supposed to separate them from the experience. I thought it would be in a room and personal ... it's not. General public were asking the instructor questions while he was talking my husband through the controls and flight etc. We had asked to go on the cockpit around the corner away from public view but were told the instruments were not as sensitive. 30 mins went far too quickly. Both the children had a go at being co pilot, I just watched but it was very annoying having the whole thing shared by everyone who wanted to look, especially when they thought they should join in, and one person even just walked past the barrier to stand right behind me for a better view !

I'd def not recommend coming here.

User

Rubbish, not worth the money at all.

The lady showing my son what to do was always getting distracted by people trying to come in without tickets.

And a very basic simulation.

My son and myself was not impressed, £10 ok but over £70 , we have been ripped off.

Good but not great. It only takes 5 minutes to look around, it is really small. We spent the rest of the time sitting in the airline seating waiting for the simulator (which was fantastic). If we go again then it will only be for the simulator.

Paid for ticket at top of North Greenwich tube clearly told lady our intention to do round trip, exhibition and simulator.. Exhibition not worth the entry without simulator which apparently needs pre booking and is full today. Your staff need to communicate with customers to ensure that it's not a waisted journey

Rubbish, not worth the money at all.

The lady showing my son what to do was always getting distracted by people trying to come in without tickets.

And a very basic simulation.

My son and myself was not impressed, £10 ok but over £70 , we have been ripped off.
