Lovely day out today, after the last couple days. With a few local club anglers out. Went after bream and hounds this morning. Had 12 black bream biggest going 2.8. Starry smoothounds biggest 14.5, dogs, poor cod, pouting, conger, ling, cuckoo wrasse and tope. Then went quiet so we decided to up the anchor and went in search for tope and bull Huss. Had tope just over 20lb and Huss upto 10lb. And a few nice pollack. Good day had by all. π£π£π£πππ
Hi folks, just updating everyone on our evening species trip last night. Had a lot of fish but not much size to anything. But certainly a bit of ground that holds a lot of fish. So we will keep trying in weeks to come to get the big ones. Species we caught were grey and tub gurnards, haddock, whiting, weavers, dogs, plaice. Had hounds and tope around the boat also. The weather was ansome. Had a good laugh with great company. Will keep everyone updated our evening trips.
Attention all workers and sherkers lol. What could be better than spending an evening at sea after a hard or slack day at work. Doing a few evening trips with the first one being Thursday 6th June, species trip 5pm to 9.30pm ish. Weather is looking ansome. Drop me a message if youβre interested.π£π£π£π
Had a couple of 4hr reef trips today folks. We had some lovely fish. With Lawrence dawber having a cracking tub gurnard of just under 4lb a found a few spurdogs biggest of just over 8lb. Also had pollack, cod upto 5lb, weaver, pouting, mackerel.
Had a group of lads on today for a 4hr trip braving the weather. Had a good run of pollack on the reef rangeing from 4lb to 7.5lb. Also had a few mackerel with the biggest being 1-4lbs cracking fish.
Tried a bit different trip this evening. In search for tope and bull Huss. Mark Davis had a tope just over 16lb and a Huss just over 15lb and Lawrence had plenty of Huss and a tope. Also dogs upto to 2.12. Looking at doing a few more evening trips targeting these fish if anyone is interested drop me a message.π£π£
