The pool is 10m long and a meter deep better still its 32 degrees so we wont be chilly! Based in Newport.
the lessons will initially be Tuesdays from 1530

Just encase anyone is worried the pool is all backup and running the morning, still a little cloudy but nothing that will stop us swimming!

UKSA pool will be closed

This week is all about hunting, climbing, exploring, jumping and swimming.

Each child will be issued with lanyards from tomorrow to be worn buy the accompanying adults while on the UKSA site at all times please!
I’ve also added the gate code to the back of the pass 😉

Hello!
I have some spaces available in the pool for some extra swimming lesson specifically for Home educated children, currently I have 3 groups running. The lessons are £64 for a 8 week term. I also have availability for private lessons £35 for 30 minuets.
The lessons are fun and flexible and cover the basics of learning to swim and then develop into stamina and lifesaving skills.
... Family groups welcome and parents are welcome to come in the pool to!
Days for potential lessons * minimum of 4 children per a group.

It’s been a crazy last week of summer with sooo much improvement from both the swimmers who joined us for the summer and all my regular swimmers just look at this small selection of distance badges!
This week Their has been over 35 distance badges achieved!! From the very first 5meters all the way through to the staggering 400m!!!

With September coming up rather quickly and an exciting prospect of extra pool time coming available.... (unfortunately for most in the day time!) I can add some extra classes and am wondering if any one would been intrested in lessons dedicated to brining 2 children per an adult! At least one child will need a float vest/arm bands or be confident on a Woggle. and age isn't a problem, they will include all the fun of the standard lessons and be £56 for an 8 week term per child. But for many hopefully child care could be less of a problem to get swimming!

So I have been getting lots of lovely enquureys for swimming, thank yo to everyone who is recomedign me and supporting Emma's Otters. I am still unable to provide enough after school space and wont run a waiting list as people are holding onto the spaces sorry!!! but i am very hopeful for some new developments..... lets keep those fingers and toes crossed!
But I have lost of baby and toddler spaces and do have room for expansion in the day time so mor...e slots can open up for private lessons ( £35 per half hour) a group adult lesson if i have the interest.... and more pre school lessons so if you can't make what I have get in contract!

This week has been all about bubbles! They are such a fun activity with too many bonuses, breath control, balance and holding on as well as exploration and wonder. I was reminded a few weeks ago about how important it is for blowing bubbles to be a key foundation of swimming! A older child joined in the fun for the summer but came struggling to enjoy swimming, after a while released they weren't blowing bubbles and struggling with breathing .... fast forward a few weeks they are loving swimming lengths of the pool without a problem!

Please ensure term 5 is paid for ASAP it started this week nd is 3 weeks long any questions let me know!

What a Morning .....The photoshoot went really well and their are some really good shorts of each child in an hour and a half i have taken a whopping 1296 photos! Even better i didn't scare anyone......somehow!

Really enjoyable for baby... he loves it... we both have a great time ��

My daughter has been going since she was 10 months old!! She absolutely loves swimming with Emma and would highly reccomend her!! She is great with children of all ages!!

Emma teaches my son who has additional needs and she is fantastic with him! So patient and understanding. We would highly recommend Emma � x

Emma has been teaching my daughter. Emma has made her more confident in the water and taught her to swim in no time. She has a unique way of teaching making the lessons fun and exciting using ways I have never seen before. She builds a trusting relationship with the children which helps them progress quicker. Highly recommended.

Emma has been teaching Georgia for over a year and a half now and Georgia really enjoys her lessons. Emma is a brilliant teacher with a lot of patience and Georgia loves her.
